Chomp looked at Rikki, "Sorry I couldn't help ya kill Arinei..."

Rikki shrugged, "Don't worry about it. Besides.. I don't really want anyone to interfere when I'm fighting him. It's a fight that me and Arinei have to finish. I don't want anyone to get in the way of that. And, I don't need help fighting him either! I'll kill him once and for all next time!" She laughed, grinning wickedly.

Chomp smiled, "I know you'll get him!" He put his arm around her.

Celebi closed her eyes.

Celebi used Healing Wish!
Celebi floated to the ground gently before passing out.

Lugia shifted slightly as he kept his gaze on Deoxys.
Mewtwo let his eyes glow bright blue.

Lugia used Recover!
Mewtwo used Recover!

Rikki was still grinning, "Of course I will! The only reason I haven't killed him yet is cause others keep interfering!" She laughed then fell silent for a few seconds, "... And to think it was him all along. I never realized he was the same one who killed my family... Never. And I never even knew WHY he did it til he explained why. I guess I was too young to remember what had happened..." She sighed, "You know... I guess to anyone who isn't biased towards me or Arinei would say that he has just as much of a right to kill me as I do to kill him. I mean.. His family was killed by mine. We're both the soul suvivors of our families..."

Chomp shook his head, "....yeah that was a shocker.....but unlike you....Arinei was willing to ally with the enemy to serve his goals....Arinei actively hunted you, despite what was happening....you were able to put that aside somewhat to help save the planet!

Rikki gave a slight nod, "True... He pretty much lives to just get revenge. That's all he wants... To see me dead for what happened... As much as I want him dead too.. It's different.. Me and my parents killed his family while hunting. We did it to get food.. To survive. Arinei, on the other hand.. Killed my family to get revenge. And I guess he can't just deal with the fact that I managed to escape."

"Revenge only leads to pain...." Chomp replied, "...Arinei will learn that soon enough..."

Rikki nodded in agreement, "Let's hope he does..."

"I could try and talk to him."

Rikki looked up at the speaker, and saw Calica standing a few feet away, "You.. You're the Golduck who was trying to protect Arinei that one time."

Calica nodded, "Yep. I became friends with him a while ago.. So maybe I might be able to convince him to stop trying to kill you? He probably won't listen.. But I can try! As much as I don't like you one bit.. I don't want to see Arinei get killed."

Chomp tilted his head at the Golduck, "If it'll stop the needless violence...I saw go for it...would be nice not having to watch our backs all the time..."

"Okay! I'll try and talk to him about it!" Calica said rather cheerfully, then turned and walked towards the entrance of the temple, "I guess I should go find where he got off to..." She looked back and waved at Rikki and Chomp, "Bye!" She then ran off.

Rikki stifled a laugh, "For someone who just said she doesn't like me one bit, she's sure friendly!"

Chomp chuckled, "Yeah...."

Chomp looked at Rikki, "Hey remember when we talked to Diablo about the Isshu region, and he said it was a good dating spot?"

Ciro bit lightly onto his dad's arm, tugging gently. "Get..up...please dad.."

Lilith watched the little children and closed her eyes tightly, "Poor things..." she muttered

Rikki's fur floofed up a bit, "Oh you cannot be serious! Going to a complete other region for a date? I'm sure we could find a better place here in Sinnoh or something!"

Chomp laughed, "Ok ok.....how bout....The Great Marsh? I hear that place is really beautiful....or maybe....Amity Square?

"Pfft, Amity Square. Hell to the no. Remember, I'm still a wild Pokemon! There's too many Trainers around there!" Rikki laughed.

Chomp chuckled, "Hmmmm.....Eterna Forest?"

"Oooh, a forest! That sounds quite nice!" Rikki grinned, then elbowed Chomp, "We should bring Sparky and Jingle with us! Like a double date!" She laughed.

Chomp smiled, "Sounds fun! Shall I call em over?"
