Well both of my coffee pairs are sitting on nests so I'm hoping for a tiger to give to her as a mate for that little fella.

I registered, though I still have my reserves about this place(I watch the Rant thread a lot). Not sure how active I'll be since college has taken a lot of my time lately. I mostly registered during this window incase it was gonna close again and I also notice most quit DC now.

Don't worry about the rant thread. It's usually about lag ;P If we had a WoW rant thread (do we? o_O) and people were to judge the game off of that alone, no one would be playing that game xD!
It'll take a little getting used to, but it's fun as long as you have goals! Remember FR isn't a finished website yet and they're still adding lots of new stuff :3
Welcome once again and I hope you enjoy your stay!

True, good point. It's mostly I fear people will become as bad if not worse than people on DC forums cause the DC forums is a cesspool of drama llamas, elitists, and whiners. XD That's my biggest setback with FR.
Now if only the confirmation code would flippin get sent to my email, it'd be great.
Also question! What's so bad about Exalting a dragon? I see so much negativity when it comes to exalting them.

That's just a matter of personal opinion and one that can become a hot topic around here.

tread carefully in your replies everyone.

In its simplest form, there's nothing wrong with exalting. It's a game mechanic in place to earn flights dominance and help move ugly dragons out of the system (ugly being subjective). What happens is that some people get emotionally involved with their dragons and such and, for whatever reason, just sort of oppose exalting. And, well, it's disheartening to exalt dragons that aren't starter breed because you only average between 2-3k when you exalt a hatchling (adults vary on level). The FR staff is slowly working on making exalting more attractive, which is what we need, so hopefully more dragons can start moving out of the system and prices will slowly crawl back up.

Windies might be super laid back, so it's hard for me to say, but so far since I've joined I've had nothing but wonderful experiences with people on FR. I mean sheesh, if only people were like this irl...that would be a dream. Just be courteous to others (as I'm sure you would) and you should have nothing to worry about.
But if someone does try and mess with ya let us know, Taarn can sic the dragonmafia on them.
I see exalting as healthy to the economy, personally, since it lessens the supply of dragons, thus increasing demand a little. But not everyone feels the same way; they wanna see their dragons grow up and start families of their own, so it can be upsetting to them.

There's always people who want to make a scene, hard to get away from them. From what I've seen, it's only really a handful of people, the general population is pretty nice.
And exalting isn't bad at all. Unless you, like, buy dragons then exalt them without naming them, people don't much like that.
It shouldn't matter at all if you exalt dragons, you get more money out of selling them but if they just won't sell then there really isn't much you can do and exalting is the best option, even if you don't get as much out of it.

Even then it's fine to do what ever you like with your own dragon! If you want to buy one only to exalted? Then do it! If someone complains to you about it then they should not of put it up for sale in the first place!
