So I spent most of the day rendering my 3D work out for hand in so I had a lot of Pokemon timez... I went fishing to catch some of the rarer Pokemon I didn't have yet, I underestimated how rare some were. o.O I went to Azure Bay to catch a Lanturn, I essentially started chain fishing because of how long it took. I was about 50 chains in when it popped up, I had to catch it, therefore broke the chain so no chance of a shiny popping up there unless I started again. I have the worst luck with chain fishing for shinies, almost everyone has at least one and I don't have any. xD I'll stick to shiny breeding lol.

So it doesn't let you know when someone adds you? I didn't see any notification so I just figured no one did, lol. Will hop on over to that thread then.

Yeah, I'm a little late to the party. I'm bored outside of work as I'm not playing an MMO at the moment. I got bored with Dragon's Prophet once I hit 95. And as I mentioned, cleaning.. found old games.. heh.

My hunt for a male Litleo has still been unsuccessful. I managed to run into one and was going to capture it... aaaaaand the move to lower him into perfect capture health crit. I wanted to cry. I'll just keep trying though. I've been leveling my bunch, although they've hit the point it's not the best exp anymore. I just beat the first Gym Leader tonight so I could move on if I wanted.

I haven't played since Silver/Gold so this Shiney thing is a bit.. new. Can wilds be Shiney or is that a breeding thing?

Ohhh Shinies. Introduced in Gen 2 and very elusive little buggers. I actually saw more in Silver/Gold/Crystal than I have in any other game XD You can get them in the wild, through breeding, etc. There are various methods to hunt shinies but it takes much patients and persistence as they are quite rare, even with the methods. They are just different colored though. There hasn't been a stat difference between regulars and shinies since Gen 2.

Male Litleo's are also quite elusive -_- Took me FOREVER to get one but he is SOOO worth it I'll be sure to add you next time I play (which will probably be Monday)

That Sylveon in those artworks looks male to me (facial structure), and that makes me even more glad he/she got a happy ending. (I adore male Sylveons.) I'm sorry I haven't been posting much lately, but I have been lurking.

The funny thing was I was kind of like that trainer. I was trying to get my evee to go espeon and when he started evolving I stopped it and tried to figure out how to fix it. My buddy then told me that the difference was that the Sylveon uses affection instead of friendship and that basically it evolves because it loves me, and not because its my buddy. ....... Ok I am a 6'4 K9 security force officer, who considers himself kind of a badass... However I then immediately focused on leveling him again letting my feels guide the way lol

I too adore male Sylveons! <3 I have my girl and my shiny male that you gave me. :3

Funnily enough, a while back when I was meant to be working I sketched out what I think a male Sylveon would look like and I think I succeeded, I was really pleased with it. xD

I finally got my male Litleo! Also got my first Evee tonight. Not sure which evolution I want to get first. Poke-Ami is to make it the fairy one I'm guessing. But this "friendship" version I'm not too sure on how to get. I'll look it up in a bit.

I'm absolutely hooked. I had Sun/Mon off and all I did was play Pokemon. Well.. inbetween bottle feeding 6 kittens and making gruel for another 3 kittens. (9 kittens enough for each Eveelution? LOL)

There are so many Pokemon I want to level and have on my team, but only having 6 slots really makes it hard to chose. I'm finding myself stuck with mostly fire types again... with a Lucario mixed in. I'd like a male Absol, Houndour, and I forget what else at the moment. I'm trying to have my team be all male as I prefer male "pets". I've been really lucky and my starter, Charmander, and Tyrunt have all come male. (Unless there is something about that I am unaware of).

So I looked up a clothing list. I'm sad at the lack of "gothic lolita-esque" items. Guess I'll have to make due with what is in game. While searching I did find out that there was an actual character in a past game, which surprises me even more that they don't have stuff available. Her name was Marley.

Anywho, planning on getting these:

Um... anyone here want to help me with my quest to complete my pokedex?

I really want that shiny charm, so I'm going to start collecting the pokemon I've yet to get. Most of them are evolutions, which are simply enough, but I'm curious.

Do I have to 100% it, meaning I've owned every pokemon OR can I get away with just have seen some?

Haven't been playing much, but picked up X so started it. Makes me wish they would add a second profile to games...

Honedge on the blade in Unown. I figured maybe the name of the soul in the blade appears there (& the first Honedge had Honedge on it so that's why they got called that).

So can anyone explain mega evolution? I got my Charizard equiped with the item, but unsure after that. Is it completely random?

You'll get training in Mega Evolution when you can do it.

Your Eevee made a good choice. Really though, Sylveon is quite powerful, and because mine also decided to evolve into a Sylveon, I ended up liking Sylveon... a lot.

As for mega evolution, you'll find out more about it along the way in the story and how to do it. No spoilers from meeee~
