IF you're feeling low blood sugar DON'T eat high carb/sugary stuff, all that will do is make you crash in 30m and then you'll feel even worse! Eat something slow burning like a piece of cheese or a handful of nuts.

School begins again tomorrow, and I can't bring myself to put on any shoes, because of how painful this bloomin nail is...and the appointment for it has been moved to Friday >.> why must my body fall apart right when I have to be somewhat social? -_-

Daughter starts full time daycare today, so every morning I need to get up by 7am, get her up and dressed, fed, have her backpack and lunch packed for the day. But damn, Hubby is sick so ALL last night he was coughing and sneezing and tossing and turning and kept waking me up ALL night!!! Soooooo Tired!!!!
Took Daughter to daycare came home crashed on the couch, and just got up..it's 3pm. I have about an hour and a half before I need to get her from daycare and a full days cleaning to try and squeeze in before then!!! So damn tired!!

The sugar can provide a quick temporary boost to the immediate situation, but if you choose to do so, it's very important to eat something more sustainable as soon as possible (like Cheese, nuts). My Nana, Mom, Sister and Hubby all have low blood sugar. In first Aid we are taught to administer someone with low blood sugar some high sugar juice to keep them from crashing or getting worse.

Growing up, I learned to tell even before my family members knew they were going to crash and would get them cheese or a sweet depending on how soon I felt they were going to crash.

My best friends mom kept sugar pills and crackers on her at all times. A quick fix won't hurt if it'll give them extra time to get something better like a meal.

Yeah, my mom is type 1 and she has Glucose tablets with her all the time. Usually she uses something like gummies or tablets as a quick sugar boost to get her going up until she can eat legit food--be it because her sugar is low half hour before dinner or she needs to readjust because she has to drive somewhere before real food is an option. Stuff like that.

Dude I feel you. Before my mom got her pump I always watched her in case she'd have an issue and I'd have to inject her. xD

The decision between studying the 'fantastic and strange' or 'rituals' in our final art project...I seriously can't pick. I guess looking at rituals would mean I could fit shamanism into it all, and that looks at spirits and stuff, which links to 'fantastic and strange' but...

I'm never going to make a start if I can't even pick a topic

I am still refusing to accept the existence of Skylanders Spyro and Cynder. What the hell did they do to you guys? :/

Got the urge to draw the other night - mostly FR related things because maybe I could make some treasure - and I decided it was a good a time as any to break out the tablet. Problem being, I didn't know where the disk to install my tablets drivers was. The tablet itself worked fine without it, but it wouldn't read that the pen was there... I swore I had seen the disk just a few days earlier, and one frantic search later (that took a good two days of on and off looking) I found it. Except, now I can't find my pen....

>_<

Really pissed at my best friend right now. He's suddenly decided he doesn't want to come and bug us after he gets in from work like he normally does, which we've said to him a hundred times does not bother us at all, he can come into our room whenever he likes, but he's suddenly stopped doing that and decided that we have to come and see him now, apparently. Which... isn't handy, at all, since his work times vary and I don't normally hear him come in the house, so I don't have a clue when he's home. But he's really not helping himself at all because he's basically chosen now to spend all his time with another of our housemates... who I have greatly fallen out with and refuse to talk to unless I have to. Soooo basically, I haven't seen him in person for about... 3-4 days? Yeahhhh... thanks a lot.
