I'm not sure if thats true in all cases - I've had money fraudenly taken out of my bank account (via a mastercard debit) and the bank refunded it. They often have to investigate to make sure you aren't just making it up but in Australia atleast there is protection. Our banks are heavily regulated and protected however unlike America but the card companies (mastercard, visa) often have failsafes in place even for debit cards.

Mmm...

Gender identity is such a difficult topic to figure out for me. I've been sitting here for the past half hour debating with myself on what I identify as, and all it's doing is confusing me.

Bleh.

Have you ever met/knowen one of those kids who thinks they are better then you because you are over 20? Like they know more because “they are young and old people don’t know anything”.

They are always rude smartarse dicks.

That makes me sound like a old person? I'm only 24 D:

Lots of swearing, don't read if you don't like.

Being told by a randomer on YouTube, who responded to a three month old comment, that my concerns towards cats being killed in films are stupid and I should be concerned with more realistic issues like clubbing seals... and when I simply told them not to go off-topic, being told that I am a heartless bitch.

Yes. Being 'triggered' (hate that word, but that's the only thing I can use to describe it it seems) by seeing dead cats on screen to the point that terrible thoughts remain in my head for days on end and cause me to panic to the point of tears all because I had the terror of seeing my own cat killed as a child is NOT AT ALL an issue for me. Fuck, I saw the cover of the DVD for the damn movie in a shop and it was all that came to mind and it would not leave my head for a good few hours. Ruined my day. So fuck off, you stupid fucking cunt. How does me telling you to please not go off-topic (they quite literally started ranting to me about clubbing seals as if it was my fault or some shit) make me heartless bitch? I cannot stand the thought of any kind of animal abuse, yes these are huge issues, but they are NOT issues for this particular conversation. (My comment was on topic because there was a trailer that had a crucified cat in it... anyone who read my rant a few months ago knows how I felt about that, and people were talking about it in the comment section.)

I tried to be calm and polite at first but after that response I outright told them to go and fuck themselves and I haven't heard from them since. Thank god. Stupid, stupid fucking piece of ignorant shit.

I use my debit card all the time. There are failsafes, yes. I've also had someone take money from my bank account through my debit on a site I never had been to before or heard of. The bank and site was quick to get my money back and get my card back.

Mine has identity theft protection, and yeah - they'll give me my money back and send me a new card. I just didn't get the 'and a credit card' function added onto it. :| It's just frustrating because I wanted to watch some Funimation anime. Dangit. I also have Kaspersky's safemoney thing and I always doublecheck the URL (I run noscript and scan Malwarebytes and my antivirus weekly).

I was just miffed they seriously don't take debit cards, so I either need a gift card or to bother a friend with a credit card. :|

The debit card SHOULD work the same as a credit. I've never heard of it not working.

Yeah, no idea. I may call my bank soon. I wonder if it's because I opted out of overdraft, etc. It's worked fine elsewhere. I suspect due to it being a new account, they may have just forgotten to set something.

Maybe! Definitely call them and ask what's up. :)

I hate anime characters with word gimmicks. Like this one chick in Kancolle says "poi" at the end of every sentence and I want to punch her it's so dang annoying. When I think of the word Poi I think of the Maori dance thing.

You'd probably hate some of my nekomimi characters. XD I sometimes make them say 'nya' at the end of their sentences.

PEOPLE. IF YOU'RE EXPECTING A FUCKING DELIVERY ANSWER THE FUCKING DOOR YOURSELF!!!!

Was having a nice lie in for a change, doorbell went, answered it, recorded delivery for someone else. Told them via Facebook and got an immediate response so they were clearly awake. -_____- If I wasn't almost constantly expecting deliveries thanks to all the TCG trades I do, I wouldn't fucking bother answering the door if it went.

I -want- to do commissions but I actually...can't afford to go as ass-cheap as a lot of people seem to be selling their work. I'm not living at home and mooching off anyone, I need that money to pay bills and crap. I'm sorry, if I spend two hours on your picture, I HAVE to charge my going rate, which is $20/hr, not like... five bucks and some WoW gold. But I can't get any work if people can get art for beans and pocket lint. Sigh.
