Look! It's an elementally infused Decay!
(Really just an old picture I modified slightly, but still.)

Blah, tired. Off too sleep :< Will be back soon I hope.
I really hate my mercurial sleeping patterns.

I really rather want Decay to be an elemental beast now... :P

Technically, she's not a beast.
*runs off before she can be stabbed. xD*

The only problem with humanoid elemental beasts would be that the beasts regulate elements better - or so I'm randomly deciding. Well, not regulate them better as in control them better- but imagine the magic in a beast as a perfect orb. In a humanoid, it'd be more like a thrashing, writhing blob. For the Cultists, they want that "perfect orb" of magic - it's easier to control.
Anyway! New cultists are welcome! Talon is going to be the one doing a lot of planning, so you might want to guard him?

Oh hey, I'm alive...and back...yeah. >_>
The boyfriend took me out shopping today in preparation for us going to a casino for a friend's birthday.

Woot Casinos! Yeah...the Vegas rule should apply to all Casinos. Have fun!
And..correct me if I"m wrong..but..Wouldn't it be Redrige, Burning Steppes, Searing Gorge, Loch Modan, Dun Morogh? And why can't they take gryphons again? I forget what the reasoning was.
ETA: Isn't there an entrance from Loch Modan into Burning Steppes you have to have a key or rogue for? I'm getting in game to find out.
ETA2: Found probable route and fixed.

Gryphons wouldn't make sense at this point with as many members of the Horde as our group has now. Do flight paths even exist in RP?
And as far as I know, they took the gate away.
In TotH we used our flying mounts, any reason we can't/haven't used them in FotC?

No offense here, but that's bullshit. Azunara isn't a beast, for starters.
Either way, it doesn't matter, as I wasn't being serious. I can't see any way to get the cultist to give her an element, regardless of how cool it'd be. I've no idea how to RP it anyway.

A little harsh, but I was kind of confused when Azu became an elemental beast seeing as she's not a true savagekin nor a true beast, but I've gone with it since I'm assuming she wanted to play as one or something. But she is technically a humanoid.
Anyway, g'night!

*blinks.*
Dear...heavens, that got hostile. And very quickly, too.
First: I thought we didn't use flying mounts/whatnot because the Cult was shooting them down.
Second: I'd like to point out Azu at least -has- a beast form she spends nearly 24/7 in. She leaves to heal. That's it. Otherwise? Cat form. Now? She can't really even leave cat form anymore. But really, I can just do hell of a lot of editing and just scrap the idea. I see now it looks like a -bad- idea if people are going to be that anxious and upset about it.

I'm neither anxious nor upset. I was just telling Lupis that Decay as an elemental beast makes at least as much sense as Azu, even more perhaps, considering she's already pretty skilled with frost magic.
Really, go for it. I just thought Decay looked cool in that picture. xD

No Azu don't! I'm intrigued where this will go with Azu as an elemental. Don't edit anything!

It's fine Azu, it's just a flaw in the reasoning is all. Technically Azu is a humanoid, but you play her however you want her to.

Yeah, I realize the flaw in reasoning now. ^.^; I was giving the reason the Cultists don't infuse humanoids, but there isn't a reason humanoids can't be infused - it simply doesn't help the Cultists. I was rushed when I typed that last reason out. >.>
So, even though it was just a fun "this would be cool" thing, it is technically very possible! The cultists just have no reason nor inclination to do such, so getting infused would be very difficult. That and you'd need someone to bond to that can share your power.

Aye, I agree. THere are some flaws of logic, but they're required for the plot. If humanoids can be infused, then why the hell would the cultists use animals, for example. I believe I even brought that one up before we started. :D Sure, by that logic, Azu shouldn't be infused, but eh, it's all for good fun.
Either way, it's a fun RP. It doesn't matter if it doesn't make sense at times. ^^

Yeah, the entire basis of the story doesn't make sense if you think about it. I'm just going to ignore that though.

The few detriments to the whole process probably are enoguh cause for most cultists:
1- The whole going-stark-raving-mad-if-you-don't-share-your-power-with-someone-else thing. I suspect that most cultists aren't very trusting of one another, with a few exceptions here and there.
2- Exploding just before dying. No body means no chance to be ressurected.
3- Let's make up that it's far more risky to infuse a humanoid. Not that it can't be done, just that there's a far greater chance of something going wrong. Azu got lucky. Or something. >.>
