Amazing part is that she managed to obtain an armor bra while inside a person.

I just find it both hilarious and sad how most straight men seem to be absolutely, gut-wrenchingly terrified of anything that has to do with homosexuality and their own sexuality. They think that "the gay" is some kind of disease that's spread through contact, proximity and even mild suggestion, and they're horrified of being anywhere near something that might call their sexuality into question.

Which explains the reason why many male WoW players are so against the idea of the incubus. They're frightened that their collection of pixels being seduced by another collection of pixels is going to infect them with the homo bug and turn them into flamboyant lisping limp-wristed cross-dressing woman-in-a-man's-body butt pirates. It's a saddening reflection of how society and religion have demonized anything that's not man + woman in holy union (and even then there's still a double standard. Most people against gays have no problem with lesbians, even the Bible makes no mention of woman lying with woman as it does with man lying with man).

To be honest, I think good old Skelshetor the Felguard is plenty sexy enough for Emielee -- he's a musclebound, giant axe-wielding demon that slaughters all in his mistress' name, without question, without annoying feelings like guilt or a sense of honour getting in the way. He's like a Forsaken girl's dream come true.

Here he is, helping his mistress cat-sit in an old quest.

Yes, Succubi might be more obvious in how they're supposed to be seductive, but Felguards offer plenty of eye candy for us girls ;)

Anyway, to give an explanation to the prevelence of the Incubus/Succubus myth, it might have been a way of explaining the phenonomeon of Sleep Paralysis in the past. Sleep Paralysis is what happens when you wake up, but your body is still paralyized like it is when you're asleep. My coworker said this actually happened to him once, and yes, it felt like someone was sitting on his chest, holding him down. It's not too hard a stretch to believe that people would make up stories of demons to explain what happened to them when they experienced something like this in past centuries. It's only human nature to want to explain things, and stories and myths are our way of doing so when there's no other means available.

In this Cracked.com article (yes, not the most reliable of internet sources, but still useful and interesting, IMO), they propose that this might be way of explaining Alien Abduction stories in modern times. In a society that no longer believes in demons, but where people would still want to explain something freaky like this happening, the myth has merely evolved to suit current times. It's actually quite interesting.

I agree with the homophobia amongst us men (even though I'm rather creeped out by the gays in my Highschool, but thats because of them, not their sexuality). Most of the time, people find gay relations extremely offensive, an example being what my mom told me about the show "Glee" (I detest this show, but it does enlighten a few aspects of humans). Apparently, on the show there are a few homosexual and bi curious characters. A large chunk (not a majority though, I think) had a problem with one of these characters, a boy, being openly gay in the show, yet showed no such mind towards the lesbian couple that had been shown kissing in the series. It quickly threw sparks around however, when the writing crew decided to have the gay young boy kiss another man. Many, Many, MANY people were upset by this being shown on public television, despite their knowledge of his open homosexuality. Yet, no-one cares about the lesbians kissing.

My point is, people may object towards the sexualization of the male gender, big whoop, it happens towards women, why doesn't offend as many people then?

(For reference, I'm a heterosexual male, so I'm trying to show I'm non-bias, as it is generally the sexuality group that I belong to that usually does their share of complaining and resentment towards this type of situation.)
