Okay so just looked at the screenshots now and paid more attention to your post.
It's funny... those black bengal goats actually used to BE black. I'd post a screenshot but I'm at the campus library at the moment.

Ahhh, after the number of posts regarding green Madexx here, I'd have to disagree, Mia. I mean, I would never trade Perseus for anything, since he won me over on the skin, but considering the amount of grief so many people went through waiting for that skin, I wouldn't mind it becoming available more widely too. Madexx's color swapping was a neat idea in theory, but in practice, it's too much RNG to fight to get the color you want. If he wasn't a rare, it would be better, but since he is, this is the best solution. Assuming that is what's being done here, that is!

/derail :D

Yeah I know it's kind of selfish for me to want that. I dunno. I don't even really know why I want that. I guess I just... Sort of like the RNG game sometimes? *is whacked with newspaper* I know, I'm crazy. I have some mixed feelings about it all. XD

I guess I like the feeling of FINALLY getting what you're looking for.

I wont be upset if all colors are made common, though.

Eee, Vicejaw! <3 Love it. :D

I don't mind about the Madexx colours at all. Finding him is thrilling, but I've never really dedicated much time to camping him...I usually just stumble upon him and tame the colour that he decides to show himself as. He'll still be out there for that special feeling, but the model's so beautiful I think it'll be great for everyone to get a shot at the specific skin they want.

Are you sure the orange one is not silithidscarabskinyellow, the Yellow silithid beetle? I hope so, because I would love to be able to tame an orange beetle other than Yauj Brood!
The zone atmospherics are very bad for picking colour, but I think if it was the bright gold/yellow one it would have shown up more obviously in the portrait. The portrait of one looked buff and the other looked orange, so I assume it's the tan brown and the orange one.

Yeah, I don't mind about the Madexx colours being re-used either. The way I look at it, most of them were special for one expansion, but nothing stays rare and special forever. Each expansion makes it easier to get old special things but introduces new rare and special things to try for. I'm sure everyone will be after some... rare god model crane or rare quilen or something soon (just randomly making those examples up, no I don't have any insider info on them ;) )

I'm sure you all know I'm all for making "unique skin rares" having a common mob too. So I'm glad that we will be able to get a choice on what mobs to tame for that skin. Might get the red skin now XD

Well I didn't have to look far to find the Amber Scorpion model in this new patch. They're just over the other side of the wall:

All level 90 elites and aggressive.

The Bluehide Mushan and Young Bluehide Mushan in the same area are all non-elite level 90s, neutral, and all seemed to be the the same colours, as in the Bluehides were consistently the blue colour and the young were consistently the dark colour.

There were also new moths there. Bonedust moth, all level 90 and all the one colour. None-elite, neutral:

I am not sure if its been mentioned about the Dark brownish colored tigers, but anyone else notice that their tails are black/white stripped while the rest of their bodies are brown/orange...bit of a clash.

Yeah. It's just how their model is. All of the tigers have tails that are darker is some way. I think it looks cool, personally. :)
