Just poppin' in to say that my turtle in beta now has his webbed tail, updated shell and other webbing.

He looks cool and beastly!

( He did before, but moreso now! )

I'll give it a try. The pandaren starter pets do too now.

Sad news is, the Pearly Tortoises only have the dark blue-ish with dark green shell-skin. No longer the green with yellow/tan-ish shell or red skin/coloration.

They seem to be changing their minds a lot on those particular mobs.

In memorial to the blunt turtles, and my red Pearly Tortoise. I tamed it last night before going to bed. Rest in Peace, unnamed hero.

Well, "like" or the equivalent thereof. It's what our society is turning into anyway. At least it's positive! Poor turtle.

The tiger I tamed has turned brown. I wish I could say exactly which one it was, all I know was that I tamed one of the orange tigers in the south of Jade Forest (level 84).

I was on Beta earlier today and last night and there were lots of orange Forest Prowler tigers. Server's went down and now they are all brown. Same with the turtles in Pearly lake, they're all blue and green. But they have their spikiness now!

I'm taking the colour changes as a good sign.

I suspect it means that Noah, or some of his colleagues, are looking seriously at ensuring that most (hopefully all!) colours of each model are available on at least one colour-stable NPC. I know some people love colour-changers (which weren't originally something intended but just a side-effect of the way colours are handled on the models), so hopefully there'll still be some. But personally I think it's more important that the majority of beasts will appear in the way that players chose when they tamed them, and that there's at least one of each available

These are not lovely shots-just more angles of the tiger, as someone requested them. My Orange tiger turned brown as well, today when I logged in. Something I hadn't noticed on the brown ones-their tails are black?









The only thing that bothers me about the model is that they have scoliosis. the way they stand, while 'at rest' makes their back curve sharply in the rear. But its not that big of a problem and won't keep me from taming one.

Since the taming level glitch still doesn't seem to be fixed, I haven't been able to try out my desired black tiger yet...however Mia was kind enough to lend me hers for a couple screenshots. I know that I definitely will tame one and try him out when I can.

Ooooh he's pretty! I haven't really given the black ones a close look but now I think I should!

I like the steel-blue tint to the fur, it's a gorgeous model. I can easily overlook the model thingies that bug me about these new tigers on the black I think, just have to wait and see if a bond forms for sure.

I do like these models but I hope they don't replace all of the old ones (bound not too) Tho I'd be fine if they got saber teeth XD
