I tried some more quivering looking eyes, and also did the simple ones. Which do you guys like better?

And then the hairs on the back of your neck stand up. You look over your shoulder, and there is Another caterpillar in the Other corner, quiet as death. As you madly glance around there are more and More caterpillars that only appear where you are not looking.

At an unheard signal, your head fills with a somber voice saying, "Now. It is time."

Hypnotized, you mount the nearest caterpillar, and the silent swarm slowly slouches towards Irvine to be born.
Have I told you lately how much I love you all?

Adding my votes for porcupines, hell hounds and quilin here! Scoot the blue porky has been my main pet for the past 3 test levels.

omg yissss

I've wanted one of those mana serpents since I saw them. And I know they said no water pets because this isn't pokemon (just mini-pet battles are I guess) but I love thresher sharks. I can understand the reasoning behind neither of these being tamable but who doesn't want a ravenous landshark for a pet?

The silkworm I knew right off the bat was an unintentional tame just by lack of graphic detail when it got bigger (cannot remember what that word is...)

The porcupine I figured was unintentional as well, but later seeing the big blue ones while questing, It seemed more plausable to be a tamable beast.

Personally I'd love an otter or those lil red racoon critters to be tamable! I love creatures like that, Stoats and such.

There are alot of creatures in the game, and I know hunters already have sooooooo many pets that they can already tame...and yet cant help looking at some of the untamable things and wanting them. I suppose its a bit hard since everyone has thier own personal preferances for what they like to run with.

Hydras, Deer, small mammals, lizards...etc.

I hope that Blizzard takes a good look through their beast list and allows us to tame some of the top ones that we would really like to see tamable. But I also know that thats asking them to do A LOT more work. But can always hope :)

That yak and those hell hounds... I want them so much now!

Well, no surprise about the silkworms, but they are just so cute. Better get one fast while I can. I never liked the porcupines, but they do make sense as a pet. I hope they make them tameable for those that want them.

I really hope hydras, hellhounds and yaks are made tameable. Hydras if nothing else.

EDIT: Looks like silkworms and porcupines are going to be tameable after all! http://forums.wow-petopia.com/viewtopic ... 39&t=17836
:headbang: Tanking silkworm, here I come!

So in case people missed the other thread, Ghostcrawler said yes to porcupines and silkworms.

This is just another reminder that it's not just Noah who's behind these calls; it's a whole team of Blizz devs. And they <3 us! They also have great senses of humor and are generally fun people, which we can sometimes forget when they have to dig out the nerfbat, are getting buried in hateful garbage from angry players, or just plain have to say no.

So all I can say is thank you, devs in general! And Noah, for still being "our" dev. :) And, well....

P.S. Hee, Derax, that's adorable! <3

P.P.S. For the silkworm fans:

maybe we should change this thread into one for the cute big eyed beasts that we still want.....the title is now irrelevant since the porcupines and silkworms are staying.

Dear Noah, if you ever read this, thank you to you and the other devs for making these creatures tameable!

Also, if you could find it in your hearts to make Cloud Serpents tameable, I would be the happiest hunter alive. I would give up everything else in my stable, literally beg you on my knees for one. I know that they mounts, and beautiful mounts at that, but I'm obsessed with them.

As unlikely as this may be, who would have thought silkworms would ever be pets? They may be modelled on dragons, but they are Cloud Serpents after all.

>.>

<.<

*cough*

I'd insert a picture of one with sad eyes, if I knew how to pull it off right.
