No clue how they pulled that one off; I don't have blue on my hordies and don't see red on Kalli.

The Sandstone Drake is now showing up on all my toons in beta. Traveler's Tundra Mammoth is faction-specific; will have to buy one for the other side

Nice! If that carries to live I'll definately consider one of those guys. I'm guessing then that Mechano-Hog / Mekgineer's you would have to have a toon with each in order for it to count for both.
I think it promotes having toons on both factions then too.
Kalli, once I get a Sandstone Drake, I can offer you a ride in a cross-realm zone to make you feel better.

Perhaps they ping'd the cheev on horde and learned it on the beta, so it bugged out that way?

maybe it was a bug that it was allowed for a bit? or maybe the Blizzard deciders haven't made up their mind yet on that one.

Here's hoping gold sinks DO become account wide. I'm sure that -more- people would end up wanting to get them overall if it worked like that. I know my boyfriend is asspained to get them and that -would- be the kick in his butt to get some of them. And he has always had loads more gold than I do. XD

Who buys more than one gold sink mount anyway? I have lots of gold and would never waste it that way. They should just let gold sink mounts be account wide already. I know for sure if they make them account wide I will buy them all. Otherwise not so much. There are plenty of gold sinks in the game. Let us enjoy the mounts ffs and have account wide mounts be something awesome instead of just OK.

There are only three reasons I would buy more than one gold sink mount at this time: Alliance/Horde-exclusive faction mounts that won't transfer to the opposing faction, one for another server (I play mainly on two servers, Horde and Alliance respectively and dabble on a third), I decided to change mains and felt I needed a gold sink on my new main.

Well, are we talking the same Gold-Sink across multiple toons, or one gold sink on an entire account (Like only the Sandstone drake, and nothing else on any other toon). I could understand the first one, no the latter.
Also, last I heard, the Gold-Sinks that were faction specific got changed so that all of that faction can use it on one account?

I really hope the sandstone drake being account-wide is intended. I have one on a hunter I no longer play and I would love to be able to use it again!

Traveler's Tundra Mammoth
Grand Expedition Yak
Mechano-Hog
Mekgineer's Chopper
Sandstone Drake
Grand Ice Mammoth
Ice Mammoth
Jeweled Onyx Panther (all color variants)
Cloud Serpents (all color variants)
At this point, the only mounts that are not account-wide are either class specific or rewarded from PVP. We feel like both these types of mounts should still be character specific.

Eeeee, yay Blizz! They seriously could have gone either way on this, and I'm so grateful. I'm actually really tempted to get a repair mount now, since my (non-engie) alts will be able to use it.
