I'm not complaining!
My server is too dead for me to even worry much. It's just....having to be careful is inconvenient sometimes. xD

so if Mei Francis is selling mount after mount for 300k 600k and 999.999k, shouldnt her NPC be in a mansion somewhere in the Alterac Alps on a ski slope?

Nah, she bought the tomb underneath Kara and fixed the door. S'why we can't get in there anymore.

Included in possible PvP inconvenience: They may be weakening city guards on PvP servers so that it's more attractive to go make war on opposing cities.

Yeah, I just saw that. That makes PvP at the black market more appealing.

Not so fast....
The BMAH does have guards. I watched someone flag and attempt to fight next to the Lady of the BMAH, and got insta-gibbed by the guards there. I expect they won't take kindly to fighting inside. Outside? that's a whole other story.

She totally is holding the smiley face under Karazhan hostage. I remember being able to slip under there all the time... now she probably expects me to pay big bucks to slip back in and take a few screenshots for the tabloids. Nuh uh! No siree! I still have those old photos... somewhere...

I was referring to capital city guards, not BMAH guards. Orgrimmar, Stormwind, that kinda thing.
