Updating with datamined spells from latest Build. Seems like they're going to try and make Tito more special.

[Tito Being Held]
[Tito Cosmetic Aura]
[Tito Hold Passive
[Tito Ride]
[Tito Wants To Be Held]
[Launch Tito]
[Holding Tito's Basket]

But now they add a Worgen companion pet. I feel confused.
It's giving in to allowing you to have a worgen, but NOT allowing you to let it fight and die for you...
... except that it's a combat minipet. So you're sending it out to fight other minipets in battle.

On top of that, hunters regard their pets as best friends. Most people see companion pets as nothing more than battle-pets.

However, worgen aren't beasts and hunters can only tame beasts. Mini pets can be anything from brooms to flowers to floating rocks. There have never been any restrictions. And as has been said we even already have playable models as pets in the form of gnomes and the pandaren monk (also the guild heralds, though they can't do combat). So a worgen mini pet makes perfect sense, a worgen hunter pet not so much.

Feral Worgen are no more than beasts. They do not have the ability to become a human anymore. Most of them never were human.

They still are humanoids tho and we can not tame humanoids. That tamable Worgen was a bug and was never intented to be tamable.

But we do have the Pandaren Monk and we also have the Boomkin baby(humanoid in form) as well as the Frenzyheart and Oracle babies that they can be used as Battle-pets, and THOSE two were supposed to have been because YOU adopted them.

Ah, I was totally going off of what should be a mini-pet and what shouldn't. Hunter's shouldn't be able to tame worgens(although it was fun)anymore than they should be able to tame...say wildkin(druids who get stuck in their animal forms). It's a humanoid creature and I think the closest a hunter gets to that is a monkey or a gorilla. Taming an actual humanoid implies slavery. I guess you could say the same could be said about humanoid mini-pets but they've already done it before so I wouldn't think they'd have a problem with it now.

I could be (and probably am) wrong here, but I know that the mini pet battles, while they are part of the game, are also a bit outside it, which is why they allow things to be kept as pets hat hunters would never be able to tame, and in some instances are things are creatures you can't even FIND in the real game (zergling, mini-diablo) and so you really cannot apply the logic of "well they let us have the MINI-PET, so why not a hunter pet.

... still wish we could have more that one out at a time though... really wanted that gnome crazy cat lady mage.... ;D

This new pet has been added that changes with the seasons. I actually really like it, it reminds me of something out of the Legend of Zelda. :)

Earth Day pet...? They represent the four seasons, after all!

Wowhead may have been joking in their April Fools' Prank, but you never know...

Okay, the Faerie Dragon is a pet store mount. Why? Like the Blossoming Ancient pet, it's also nelf-themed. The Blossoming Ancient pet says it's from the pet store in the journal.

I think he's referring to the "The Fairy Dragon is a pet store mount" part.

That's speculation. I'm just saying it's not a big leap from night-elf themed store pet, to night elf themed level 20 boa mount being a store mount as well.
