I haven't really played that much on the US side but from what little I've seen the EU game seems to have a teensy bit better performance, as one playing on us from europe I haven't really had big issues with lag on the us servers, I suppose it's different depending on where you are.
EU does have a good amount of "special" dragons avalible on the site if you're willing to fork over around $20 per dragon .. less for some, more for others. I have some of Mike Sass designs myself.

I logged on, and right now I actually have less lag than on the US dragon prophet client. I don't get it lol. Granted I'm on my laptop right now and my desktop shouldn't have problems with either clients.
Maybe it's just because I'm in the starter zone, so I'll have to wait and see. But already I've seen more people; If I do switch it's good I only got to 50 (instead of max level) but I hate to do all the quests over again.
Also, after looking at some dragons Zios the Cloudburster is gorgeous, but roughly 20 bucks for a single dragon does seem high. (Says the person whos bought every WoW store pet but shh.)

I have Zios,Metron,Elaris and Sadras myself

plus a few of the 'regular' marketplace dergs. my absolute favourite which my char Emillus almost always use is Raiden though.
I'm not sure how but if you wanna add me to friends let me know

I just still can't decide to keep going on my NA or start on Eu lol. Less zone chat on EU but I've seen more people around. And aside from EU exclusives I don't know what else is different.
blehh

hehe well nothing stops you from playing on both really

True, but it's hard to devote time to both characters. One will end up being more played in the end anyways
I guess I can give leveling to at least 30 a shot on the EU and see if the experience is any different for me. I was reading about login rewards?? Do they still do that?
I did buy $20 bucks worth on the NA client too, for some stable/lair slots and a dragon, so that's the biggest thing that's kind of making me iffy on the change. (Though I know that's really not that much. I was reading about someone that switched to EU after spending $600 on the NA game. What.)

I think so, haven't really been on much lately.

hmm maybe I will stay on EU :s
People seem friendlier oddly. And having more people on has been nice; after playing NA it's weird seeing even one person out leveling lol.
Plus theres an exp boost this weekend it seems, so perfect timing I guess. EU has so many events in general. I know that the Chinese dragons are back for a week too... I guess the company that runs this version is just a lot more invested in keeping it up to date as opposed to SOE. NA version till has the Christmas, spring and midas events running all at once right now xD
I'd love to add you to friends if I knew how lol.

It said friend request or invitation sent; hmm. When you go to interface mode, your friend's list is on the top in one of those drop-down menus. Maybe there's something pending there. *shrug*

Currently downloading the EU version to see how things are on the other side of the water.
The NA server is so dead. I hardly ever see anyone, and despite having put some money into it and having Lunar Frost and Verdant Fin.. I can always get them again. Just takes time.
The EU site seems so much more... drawing. I looked through the marketplace dragons and there are so many dragons I didn't know existed. It seems like a totally different game.

the developers seem to put more work into the EU side, I think SOE does work on it now and then but with all their other projects .. well ..a freebie game isn't particularly high on the agenda.
I'm still not seeing any friends requests .. perhaps both of us need to be online .. if you give me your characters name either here or in pm I can try from my end if you want

Yeah, I think we do both need to be online; figured it out today when I added some people.

My char name is Lupenn (Lupen was taken >:( ) so if you ever see me on feel free to send a request.
I've enjoyed EU a lot more than NA already, so I definitely recommend it. They actually have events, like the double XP weekend, deals/sales, and the devs seem so much more involved; Infernum is always coming out with new, exclusive dragons. SOE doesn't seem to update the game at all, and when they do it's always weeks/months behind EU.
I've seen a lot more people on EU despite the time difference... just out questing or in the cities, and people seem a lot more friendly. Thanks to my guildies I have two of the Chinese dragons already (Kozer and Shunji) @ level 50.

Very cool

I'll look for you next time I'm on

and Seilahyn if you decide to play on the eu side regularly feel free to add me too if you like

Emillus is the character I play the most there
I always use the first marketplace dragon I bought since I've become impossibly attached to him, Raiden a black scaled Balge brother.
shouldn't have looked in the marketplace ><

Raiden is awesome. At first I didn't care much for the ancient dragons (I like the fabled ones more) but after seeing them in game more I want one xD
Also I saw your friend request... but it was after I came back from being AFK with my egg for a few hours x.x so when I clicked accept it didn't go through as you must have logged off already. So close!
