Hold on, beavers? BEAVERS? The rodent family is getting all the love it deserves.

Gorgeous Bakar hounds. They're like big mastiffs. So far I've only found two of the colours:

A few things that
*aren't* tameable:
- Vorquins are classed as Dragonkin. It's a real shame, as they're the closest thing they've added that resemble that unused quilin/windsteed model:

- Vorquin.png (1.57 MiB) Viewed 6304 times
- the hornswog toads are also classed as Dragonkin, apparently deliberately so, and won't be tameable at this stage.
- the giant mana wyrms are beasts, but currently not tameable. They're gorgeous though, and hopefully they will be!

- Mana Wyrm.png (2.16 MiB) Viewed 6304 times
- there are a few otter colours but none are currently tameable. They're a great model, though, and the tuskarr seem to use them as pets:

- Ottuk.png (1.35 MiB) Viewed 6302 times

Tameable baby turtle may be a mistake:

I hope this changes I want those frogs more than anything ;_;

There is one hornswog in the database (so far) that's tameable. Hopefully, they do the right thing and fix the ones mislabeled as dragonkin.

Two more untameable things:
- this bear model that looks like a druid form. Some are elementals. Others are untameable beasts:

- ShortcoatBear.png (1.66 MiB) Viewed 6297 times
- this really cool "flying fox" is sadly untameable. I saw it in 2 or 3 colours in different places:

- Talonfox.png (2.42 MiB) Viewed 6297 times

Lastly, there's a new tameable water strider model. Before taming, most of them seem to be flying, and some are pursued by gorloks in their village:

- WaterSkimmer.png (1.92 MiB) Viewed 6295 times

- WaterSkimmer Flying.png (655.82 KiB) Viewed 6295 times
It's not one of the highest poly count new models, but it's still good it's tameable.

The "dragonfly" critters feel wrong. They have comically tiny thoraxes, and are in desperate need of bug butt enlargement.

With the existence of Salamder mount, I do hope we get a Salamander/Newt family so we could finally tame OTIOSEN!

Or maybe, we will get tamable beast type Dragonkins <3! Dragonkin group consists of those windsteeds and toads!

If armoredons stay exotic I will be heartbroken, those are the coolest creatures on dragonflight so far

There's little worry there, unless they rush development even more than we expect. They don't even have cleft hooves, so they literally can't be clefthooves. They will absolutely be put in scalehides, unless they get a catch-all family with the other dragon-themed beasts (Unlikely).

A new monkey model
Pretty sure that's just the Recruit a Friend pet without a hat, but new as a no-gear model, yea.

Wain and I are giving feedback that Exotic is an outdated system, but other CC members are pushing back against it for some reason. X_X Like no, Clefthooves are not an iconic pet for BM lol. I said if anything, if they don't plan to remove Exotics, prune back some of the families - Clefthoof, Carapid, Worms, Water Striders, and Stone Hounds could easily be made non-exotic.

That's a damn cool beetle, if it is tameable I'm naming mine Hercules.

The Beavers grow to absurd sizes when you tame them lol. They start out the size you'd expect. Then they do this:
Oh, there's baby versions of the Qilin things, but they are also classified as Dragonkin.
I'm 99% sure Wain got everything else, but I'll be searching for like an hour in the zone we have, just in case. I'll edit this post if I find anything that I don't think was reported.
There's an owl flying a decent distance in the air - it is not flagged tameable.
Another not really that interesting thing:
Generic Crab that's tameable, but level 70.
