One of each fox (they are my fav land animal) on my main hunter (who will probably become a worgen as soon as race change is allowed-she's savage and feral at heart, so a bit of story behind that change...I might post it on the forums after Cata)
It seems thoug hthat some of the graphics on the new pets are a little off, the mastiff heads almost disconnect atm, and the foxes legs look paper thin at some angles, I hope they get those fixed soon.

Not really. They will still be exotic, and you will have to be level 60 to get the talent to get one. These could be the "generic" spirit beast that people can get if they don;t have the patience to camp one of the rare ones. so, could be nice for a lot of hunters, but us hunters who still want that special spirit beast still have ours to camp.

Every hunter could get a ghost caber before that anyway.

That;'s from the tunnel place in Moonglade, for the drood epic flight form quest. There are also shadow/spirit jade owls and parrots. That's probably your best bet to look for pre cata screens.

With all-new monkeys and mastiffs added, there's GOTTA be other, all-new pet "families" that are gonna come out! Woot! I'm so excited. I want Devilsaur-ish like pets Tameable! Otherwise my current Devilsaur's gonna stay "king" as my primary pet. I have no idea what Blizzard could possibly create to VISUALLY compete with Devilsaurs. I hope "wolves" will not stay at the top spot. And I'm not gonna Tame a fox or Mastiff. I really, really prefer "cats". I'm a cat person. I don't like... "silly" dogs. Ewwww I'm hating that snail picture so much! It should really just be of a World of Warcraft snail picture.

Hoping for more gem animals, and more rhino skins.

Please please please gimme back my purple warpy I wanted soo bad since the first screenies were linked in Vanilla about the BC critter!! (And the red one too).

I "settled" for the white warpy - was so pissed I mised out on the black one - and that the purple/red one wasn't tameable .

And another vote for OTHER dinosuars from Ungoro. I"ve wanted the petrodactyl since I was there in Vanilla, so irked they weren't tameable (and have never been). All those dinos should be tameable!

But heck - with the 20 slots - I'll be busy taming all the pets I had to give up over the years and leveling them up for awhile!! Gotta get back my black worg and my white owl (Jerith must return!) and my purple hyena and the white stalker (if the others aren't available) and my multi-colored owl from BC and..and..I always hated abandoning my old pets so I must go and retreive them all back into the family!

Then I'll worry about the new ones

I hope the silithid (can't spell) wasps are tameable as i want a sand coloured one to go with me silithid tank one!

Your link didn't have a picture, so it didn't register. Besides, in the context of the conversation, it was implied that the Emerald Dream bird model was the correct one.

I'd love to see a dog family open up. Would be nice to see some floppy eared hounds or some other interesting breeds. Attack pomeranians? I'd get one. :p

I'm happy with the list so far, though I'm still hoping to see some old world creatures get added.. I need a pet giraffe.

I do wonder if the Dread Creeper (purple spider in Naxxramas) is tameable finally. On the spreadsheet it's marked at "no", but I kinda get this feeling it hasn't been checked yet? Last I looked it was still flagged as 'tameable' via beast lore in the current game.

Seems like Duskwood has alot of owls, no pics but from what I have been reading. There is even a owl stable there.

No word yet on whether the Silithid Wasps from Un'goro are tamable?

I so want one of those!
