You mean you never got your ass kicked by him back before you knew what 'elite' meant?

Nope. Well, not him alone. My first time I fought him and like three other knolls, and that didn't end well. My first character, my holy paladin, beat him second try though. I ate elites, and I mean elites back around launch, for breakfast. I made it my point back then, since I was convinced they gave a lot more experience, and were thus worth it. It's a ritual of mine to make sure to kill him with every class on the level, as a way to test how I am doing so far.
