Wow, the DragonHawkSkin02 and DraekodonSkinChromatic are pretty awesome. All these lovely beasties out there (in WMV anyway), hopefully we get to see some of them one of these days.
Thanks for all the work you're doing, you have really been an asset.

I agree that some developers seem to be like that. The same black worg, grey worm, black buzzard, etc. over and over again, and probably because they did just copy it from another zone for convenience, as adding variety/rare colours isn't high on their priority list as long as the zone is populated.
But if you look at the list of skins that were on the untameable list, but have been made tameable in this beta, it's obvious that some developers are going out of their way to add more colours. The list is now huge. Every last parrot skin bar one, all the bone spiders, all but one warp stalker, the missing aether ray, serpent and scorpid skins. So we have someone to thank, and hopefully they'll add more before this expansion is released

I only wish we knew who to thank! Much <3 to them!

Added:
Monkeys
The following only applies to monkeys with no picks. All pick-wielding varieties are tameable in stable colour forms.
-
MonkeyBlue: tameable, but only available in colour changers such as
Vale Howler
-
MonkeyBrown: tameable, but only available in colour changers such as
Vale Howler
-
MonkeyWhite: tameable, but only available in colour changers such as
Vale Howler
(MonkeyBlack is tameable in a stable colour form as the Skymane Bonobo... stupid name, as Bonobos are chimps not monkeys

)

Yes, it's pretty much a ready-made spirit beast

Though it's not really elegant in the way most of them have been designed. On my shammy I actually logged a suggestion that that model could be used as part of a glyph to turn spirit wolves into spirit owls

Oh, I agree it looks really nice

It's just that with the exception of Gondria they seem to spend a bit more time making spirit beasts look less like just a transparent form of a standard beast, but maybe they'll use it for something like that.

Added:
-
BearSkinSpectral: grey and ghostly blue skin (perhaps was the basis for Arcturis?)
-
PolarBearCubSkin: milky-white, no snarl. Probably the skin of the baby bear minipet mapped onto a regular bear
Check out the cheesy grin on the latter
Apparently all the bear skins can be mapped onto both the adult and bear cub models. The bear cubs with the diseased models look very sad

A bear with a face I could actually tolerate!!!

I dislike all the bears in the game because of the snarl. But that one's actually not too bad.

Unfortunately there's only one colour of that skin type.
The bear cubs in the game actually seem to use the adult skin file, just mapped onto a cub model. They even have the little sneer. It seems to be only the minipet that uses the non-snarling skin, and there's only a white one for that. I have seen a reference to a brown one in the MPQ files, however, so maybe there's more to come.

Aha! Through a combination of 50% alchemy and 50% witchcraft, I managed to get WMV to display the brown minipet / no snarl skin on the adult model:

The problem is that WMV currently refuses to acknowledge anything that was added in the later patch files. I had to copy it into one of the main files before it'd allow me to view it. There were also a bunch of new wolf skins added in one of the patches. They were all lumped under "Wolf" (which is the name for the original coyote style model), but the names of the skins suggest some are for worgs or saber worgs (such as "DireWolfSkinButterscotch", "DireWolfSkinFire", "DireWolfSkinIce" and "WorgSkinRed"!) However I can't get WMV to display them 100% correctly as it won't render the proper coloured ruffles, and they look kind of mangy with the correct base coat and black or grey hair ruffles sticking out. I can turn the ruffled hair off, but they also look weird with perfectly smooth coats. But I can post them if people are interested in getting an idea of what the coat colours are supposed to be.
