Phantom nodded. "You did! Very good, in fa--" He stopped abruptly as Buzzard's message barely reached him. "Wh-what.. In the world?"

------

Millie blinked, her expression drooping. "Oh...." She said simply, staring down at the ground.

Venin's ear-fin twitched. She caught nothing of the message, but felt something. "What is it?" She turned to ask Phantom.
Beside them, Asher twisted hsi head. Something was making his parents alert. he sniffed about, ears held high as he tried to find out what it was for himself.

((Magna, is it okay for Vethor to contact Chomp now? Don't want to start him off if you're not ready. :) ))

The Dusk that had gathered looked at each other once more. A chance...Renewal. A second try, to fix what should've been. They spoke in a clamor of voices that was united on one idea: the New Dusk. Solara looked extremely pleased as they all agreed in their search for the artifact.

Buzzard grinned, then spoke in his head. You can all communicate through your minds, but I urge some caution. If you are trying to speak to someone far away, be specific in who you target to speak to. We don't want enemies catching on to this, not yet.
((And you failed that already, Buzzard.))

Spear sighed, "Its all my fault...I should've protected them better..."

-----

A trio of reptiles traveled through the forest. The Rampardos hummed while the Garchomp and Feraligatr sang, "....I just had seeeeexxxx....and I'll never go baaaack....to the not-havin'-sex ways of the paaast....."

The feraligatr, Chomp, stopped with a chuckle, "God if our wives were here...they'd be kickin our asses right now..."

Jaws, the Garchomp and Ironskull the Rampardos nodded in agreement.

Aeris squeaked and shook her head viciously, trying to get that pain to stop! She whined out, dropping the berries she had managed to find.

((Go Buzzard! XD))

"Pretty much. If you can, try and get more Dusk to aid our cause. And if any Dawn try to stop you, kill them." Solara added, flicking her tail.

Phantom shook himself, trying to hide the slight shudder than went through him. He turned his gaze to Venin. "It was.. A message. From Buzzard. Something about starting the Dusk again. I guess I heard it because I'm evolved..."

-------

Millie stayed silent for a bit, then spoke up again. "Well.. Surely they wouldn't want you to keep being upset right? I'm sure they'd want you to be happy!" She said, trying to sound optimistic.

((*Splutters at Chomp, Jaws and Iron* XDDDDD))

((...I love how nonchalant Phantom is. "Oh, they're starting the Dusk up again? Whatever. Warning people? Naaaah.))

Solara continued, "We should begin searching. I suppose we just pick a direction and look."

((Hm. For all of their efforts here, they're going to have an interesting time looking for the mirror if they have NO sense of direction. xD Yaaay exploration.))

Very well then.

Mists cover Baaz's vision. They clear to reveal, Soren looked around that the carnage around him. It surounded the rebel leader, Vincalis the Agitator who knelt praying. Suddenly Vincalis stood up. Raw power eminating from him. Soren felt joy wash over him
The joy of being about to kill these fools again.

Mists once again drift in to change the memories Then the God-King's presence drove all to their knees. The voice at calls out 'Return to Me my children! Pain and agony fills Soren's very essence at the mere sound of this voice! The pain of knowing that we were to retreat.

Mists drift agin to reveal other memories rushing one after the other. Disjointed and brief.
Rushing to the palace.
The Darkness of the Mirror closing in.
The cannibalism of the weak by the strong to survive.
The pain of supplying the energy to open the mirror.

The mists disapear to reveal Baaz's orginal surroundings.

I'm sorry thats all I have the strength left to do.

(( Bah, forgot Arkon! ))

"If you want to sure." Arkon gave a little shrug, his tail flicking. "I could go for some berries right now."

The Sinistra was feeling weaker by the second. Bah, this was too much strain. Slithering around the mind, she executed a last attack to try and shatter Aeris' mental barrier, to temporarily gain complete access to the mind. If it failed, she'd have to retreat until she could try again.

Buzzard nodded at Solara. He was amazed at how fast things were moving. The memories of war were still dominating his mind, and he could hardly think of anything else. Any suspicion was washed away by pure rage anyway.
"Stand tall, New Dusk! Search every corner of the map! We will find the mirror, and we WILL usher in our time!"

((Memories are strong things... Completely running Buzzard right now. >.>))

Lark nodded, darting out towards the snowy plains. "If you smell anything, yell!" she called back, nose to the ground.

((Yeah. Sol's pretty much descended into her old Dusk mindframe. *pats her semi-sane Psyceon good bye.*))

Solara punctuated Buzzard's ending words with a roar, and the Dusk moved quickly, flying types taking into the air to hunt the far reaching regions, water types moving to where water would be, to dive deep below the surface. Solara watched them spread out. It was a lot of ground to cover...But they'd find it. The Dusk would take what was theirs.

Arkon rolled his eyes before he took after Lark, snow melting under his paws as he sniffed around for berries. At least he'd be able to get to them easier than she would.

Aeris winced, feeling a deep whine come from her as something in her mind shattered. She shook her head a few times, almost like she was trying to snap it back together.

Sinistra would have smiled. Her mind surged forth, trying to envelope the Dragonite's mind. She instantly began the typical search, looking for weaknesses and memories, any sort of information that would help her take over the Dragonite.

((XD Jaws, Chomp and Iron ftw))

"Again?" Venin hissed though her teeth. "Why? They've been cured and they have no leader. This makes no sense."
The vaporeon rose to her feet, unsure what to do now. She supposed she should tell somebody, but she didn't want to put her own cub in danger.
"Damn it." She growled. "I don't like this. What do you want to do Phantom?"

Beside the two, Asher looked up at his parents, confused as to what was going on. Maybe the berries he found were off? He heard sometimes that berries could go off and make people do funny things.

~

Baaz gasped as the visions passed before him, staggering back. The clarity as they flashed past him, the emotions running rampent though his mind as he experienced them. This couldn't be faked. "Okay, I trust you. How can I help?" He called out to the winds, pacing along his porch.

~

Vethor giggled to himself as he listened to the chittering of these... things. He recognised them as the beasts from his own time. He remembered hunting them, back when he was still flesh and bone. But they were stong he supposed, more powerful than your average human. One of them would serve nicely. He's have to be subtle though, a touch as light as Sinistra's own, as the old saying went.

<Help!> He called out to them mentally. <Is anyone there? I need help!>

Aeris whined and tried to stop the..whatever it was from getting into her mind. She couldn't let her find out about her family, it could attack them and she'd never forgive herself!

"I.. Don't know..." Phantom replied. He thought for a moment, then sighed. "I think.. If we do decide to do something, we should try and find Ghost and her friends."

------

Millie smiled slightly. "Mmhm! They'd want you to be happy and have fun! You should do something fun! Like play in the snow! Come on, you can join me!" She said, turning and jumping at a pile of snow, a small burst of light enveloping her as she went. A few seconds later, a small fox Pokemon poked its head out of the snow. "Heehee!" She giggled, grinning.

Venin nodded. That seemed wise enough, they'd dealed with two wars before. Although she supposed this would be an exstansion of the last one in a way. Smiling, she looked down to Asher. "Come on little guy, we're going to go visit your Aunt. You can go play with your cousin."

Asher grinned, happy they were finally going to do something other than look worried. And it had been so long since he'd seen Rust, this would be fun!
