You know you're a hunter at heart when you're playing a different class, you see a beast and you regret not making this druid a hunter, cos you would totally tame that thing right now. This happened to me when I took my freshly rolled Troll through his starting quests and he came across the corrupted red raptors. Level 2 Outland-looking raptors? Yes please. So I swore the next hunter I rolled would hit level 10 and head directly to the Echo Isles. Turns out the next hunter I rolled was a Worgan. He got out of Gilneas at level 13 and the first thing he did was start running south.


The easy part. Darnassus to Darkshore.


Passing through Darkshore, the power of the elements is experienced first hand.


A quick stop at the Grove of the Ancients.

So, on my MALE worgen, I noticed what one of the NPCs said... I quickly rolled up a female worgen, and ran over to /dance near the NPC, while waiting for the quote to reappear. Worry not, dear citizens, the foul creature has long since been deleted.

I was very excited and lucky today. I rolled my baby worgen hunter, Xyrah, over on Nesingwary and have been working on her in between my main on Suramar to get her out of the starting zone so I can go start looking for Duskstalker, who is set to be her main pet for the theme/story I'm giving her.

So I head out of Darnassus and down through Teldrassil, and low and behold, my beautiful cat was out there waiting for me. ^_^

Duskstalker! Raven should say hi. XD

He's a very beautiful cat, even joined me for a round of fishing.

I still have not decided on a name for my new companion yet.

Looks like someone is getting tired of waiting for his dinner:

So I transfered my troll huntress from my main realm over to Nesingwary, mailed my BoA chest and shoulders to my baby belf huntress, Rose, and get it into my head that Rose could really use Shadowclaw as her pet...at level 14. XD

I began my epic run (and only died once, woot!). On my way through Darkshore, I passed the Strider Clutchmother.


I was happy to see her up and about, but she wasn't what I had gone to the zone for, so I continued on to Shadowclaw's spawn points. Much to my dismay, I see a night elf druid roaming the area, and sure enough, Shadowclaw's up and the druid kills him knowing I'm right there in the same area.


I almost cried, but I know that the low level rares have fairly quick respawn timers; wowhead has Shadowclaw's listed at 1.5-2.5 hours. I decided to come here and post and not ten minutes later my wonderful cat spawned for me again so that I might make him a friend.



Gave him Fayng as a name. I already have a story and theme planned out for Rose, and simple, sort of harsh sounding pet names suit her.

Yay! Rose!

This disguise is foolproof. Foolproof, I tell you! The quest requires you to "hide" in a crate. I cannot see any problems with this, can you?

You're supposed to be underwater with the crate. :P
