Okay, seems my area of the real world is experiencing blizzard conditions. Wind, low visibility, snow. Lots and lots of fracking snow. yeah.

But, I'm indoors, about to have dinner, and I am warm and comfy. Worry about shoveling tomorrow, when this storm works itself out.

Ketch over-worked himself this holiday season and he's having the fun of a cold. So he's relegated to bed. I must resist the urge to tell him, "I told you so." Cause I knew this would happen. Ah well, at least it waited until after the family gatherings were over.

I'm just happy that another Christmas has come and gone (work will be normal again) in a delightful (family is (usually) awesome) way.

Actually, no, there are no snowmen on my lawn. Or in my yard. But there's plenty of snow should I get the insane urge to go out and make one.

Drive? No, good sir, we are flying down. It's the gift my mom-in-law (Ketch's mother) gives us every year that she can; the gift of warm sun, sand, and surf. Not to mention good food, palm trees, gelato and shopping....

Sure we have a short layover somewhere between here and there, and won't get down to FL until 9ish at night, but I can live with that. Chance to stretch the legs, have a bite to eat, use a bathroom that isn't the size of a locker.

I never played football.

I have thrown snowballs though.

And a mad bomber style hat keeps my noggin toasty.
