Lark perked her ears, darting forward. There was another scent, too. Not arcanine, and nothing she could identify, but she'd find out!
As long as Venin didn't stop her, at least. Her movements were harsh and sudden as she tried to run ahead.

Ivika pricked her ears, and could hear the arcanine well enough. ((Those huge ears have to be useful for -something-.)) She winced, not sure. Well, if he started going for them, she wouldn't let him hurt her friends. Even if...fire hurt...so much...

Shaking her head, she followed after the group.

---

The Dusk magikarp gave a sad little...fish sound as the creature left the water. It stared after it, disappointed, and dove back down into the sea. The shuppet, not limited by water, followed silently after, like a...ghost.

((Sorry for lack of activity these past couple of days. Waiting for brother to get up so I can prod him into posting. >.> ))

Psychosis pushed his way though the forest, scowling as he moved. Perhaps choosing to ignore the human made paths was a bad idea. This forest certainly seemed to be reluctant to let him though. But he could hear thrumming in his mind, and it got a little louder with each step. He had to be close now...
A root snagged his foot, causing the Remku to stumble and fall downward, rolling down a steep incline. He was brought to a sudden stop as his head smaked up against a rock. He hissed in pain as his vision swam about him, his mind barely clinging to consiousness.

The shuppet dropped down in front of the Remku, unphasing, trying to nudge him back away as best as it could. "What are you?" It jittered, looking curious.

Psychosis shook his head, barely feeling the Shuppet's touch. His head hurt, the damned thrumming wan't making things easier.
<Evolved... Hypno...> He mentally whispered, eyes blinking into focus.

The shuppet tilted its head, or at least as best as it could. "You're searching for something, yes, yes! I can tell, I can. I can help you!" There. That should please the Voice, right? It promised him to have power, enough to defeat the strange red and blue creature that killed him and harmed his master, the Lord of Time. It was times like these Stryke wished he was a zubat again. Oh well.

((I doubt anyone remembers these guys, but I liked them while they lasted. And I figure someone to accompy Psychosis so he isn't totally seperated will help.))

Ivika was following the others, occasionally yelping and crouching down warily when a zubat winged overhead, emitting sharp cries. She just wished they'd find Baaz sooner.

((I'm just going to cheat a bit here.))

Psychosis struggled to his feet, glancing down at the shupped with narrowed eyes.
<I could... use the help.> He responded, as he looked up and around, trying to get his barings again. It was cold here, that much he could tell. Much colder than anywhere else in this strange land. Everything swam about him, blurring into a big mess. The thrumming in his mind was almost deafening, it was even drowning out his master's voice.
... Wait, his master was speaking to him? He focused on his master's voice, trying to force out the thrumming.
<It's here! It's here! Right in front of you you stupid thing!>
Psychosis' head jolted up as his master's screeching, keeping his head held still to try and focus his vision. Sure enough, sitting tangled in the middle of the glade, was a large, obsidian stone slab, polished to a mirror finish with golden runes on the side. Large chunks of ice surrounded it, freezing it to the floor of the glade. The runes pulsed with a faint energy.

~

The Soultaker attached to Psychosis screached out over the shared link he had to the Silver Mirror.
<My host found the mirror!> He cried out to all the others imprisoned there. Hundreds of voices cried out in ecstasy. Soon, they would be free!
Deeper inside the pocket dimension, he stirred. It was not much, a slight quiverring of his slumbering mind.

~

Baaz had enough of this. Growling to himself, he continued down the stairs, spiralling downward into what felt like hell itself. Finally, it opened up into a gigantic chamber. The walls were govered in gold, with various artifacts and weapons hung around. Scrolls and books that looked as old at time itself lay scattered about the chamber, each covered in writing that Baaz could not understand.

Suddenly, the Arcanine twisted about as he heard footprints behind him. Venin whirled into the room, a toothy grin on her face.
"Hah! We found...... you..." The Vaporeon's smile dropped as she saw the room, staring about it in wide eyes fascination. "The hell is this place?"
Asher stopped to sniff at Draxis, curious about the strange pokemon.

"Now you just lost out on most of the fun.", Darkrai heard the whisper in his head from a slightly overjoyed Ley.
"Wah?", Darkrai asked, receiving a prompt reply: "The artifact we need has been found. By your enemies."
"The Dawn got the artifact.", Darkrai muttered to Solara, looking sad. "I didn't even get to kill anyone."

Solara growled, lashing her tail. "Anyway we can catch them and kill it before they get too far with it?"

---

Ivika blinked, looking at Baaz, then at the room, tiliting her head. "Whoa." She said quietly.

---

The shuppet bobbed up and down in excitement. They had found it! Found it!

Psychosis shook his head again, trying to clear his mind. Perhaps it was an illusion? Staggering forward, he reached out to touch the surface of the mirror. Sure enough, his hand made contact with the cold, smooth surface. As before, the runes flared up, and the suckly smell of honeysuckle filled the grove. The hum becaue audiable, drowning out almost all other noise around, and a strange wind seemed to swell.
Elation swiftly turned to despair, as the Remku realised he had no real way to move this damned thing. He tried to tug it out of the ground, but the ice it was stuck in held it tight. He took a few steps back, twisting his head to peer at it. He looked to the shuppet, wondering if it had any ideas.

Suddenly, a loud roar thundered, one so loud it shook the very trees with it's fearful might. Psychosis jumped, his ears pricked high, looking for the source of the sound.

~

<Here, let me send you the location> The Soultaker inhabiting Psychosis responded, sending along as many detailed pictures of the area as possible, hoping it would be enough information to allow for a teleport. He briefly paused at the sound of the roar. <I fear we may be needing help soon, it would seem the key to our prison has a keeper.>

The shuppet flinched, giving a quiet cry of worry. "The Masters, they can help, yes." The shuppet chittered, referring to the Dusk. "But they don't know where we are."

Sinistra sent a thankful thought and prodded Solara's mind, whispering. <Wait! I can help. I'm sorry for being silent for so long, but I have been searching, and now the location has been found. Go here!> She forced the images of the area into her mind. <It's across a sea.. Ask the Dusk!>

Psychosis looked around, tying to find some sort of tool to break open the ice nearby. <Your masters had better hurry up then.> He replied to the Shuppet. <I don't hink we have much->

He was interupted as a large dragon crashed into the glade with a ground-shaking roar. Ice covered his back, chest and face, almost like armour. Straight, ctystaline wings stretched out from his back, tipped with razor sharp spikes. Yellow eyes glared down at Psychosis and the Shuppet, razor sharp talons flexed, ready to strike.
"Who are you, who dare to tresspass in Kyurem's domain?!" The ice dragon snarled at the two creatures below him.

Solara nodded thoughtfully, and gave a quick command, a group of Dusk gathering around her. She mentally transmitted the images, and the kadabras nodded, humming softly with the buzz of energy. "Ready." Solara said.

Kadabras used Teleport!

Shaking herself, Solara ordered the Dusk to fan out, and they did so. "Hey, ugly!" She called to the creature, Kervyn or Kerrurumn or something like that; the psyceon didn't pay attention.

Draxis followed the arcanine at a small distance now that he had starting moving again. The deeper they got into this ruin the worse Baaz seemed to look. Baaz was growling to himself under his breath and Draxis didn't think that the Arcanine was even aware of it. When they finally reached the end of the spiral stairway the golett let out a small whistle, he had never seen so many treasures in one place. Draxis stood out of the way as Baaz started to look around for something. It wasn't long before he heard someone else enter the room and he soon found a rather curious eevee sniffing at his leg.

---

So the mirror is finally found then is it. I had better see how the other group is going with their task. Dextra though to himself. It didn't take long for him to find Baaz. The link he placed with the arcanine was still stong. Dextra was pleased however to see that Baaz had finally found the relics that he was send after. About time!

<You found them Baaz, Good!> He said to the arcanine. Dextra then looked at the others. Some sort of rock-ghost thing and three fox-cat creatures. One of which seemed to also be some sort of fish and another that seemed to have leaves coming out of it. Dextra could also sense others not too far away.

Kyurem snarled down at Solara and the Dusk, unphased by their sudden appearance. He turned to face them, the winds of winter swirling about his form.
"Insolent whelps!" The dragon snarled. "You mess with power you cannot begin to comprehend. I shall see your skin flayed from your flesh before I allow those aboninations to be free again!"
He roared again, this time so loud it shook the leaves off the trees surrounding them, pushed the snow infront of him into a flurry, battering the senses of any who stood near him.

Kyurem used Hyper Voice!

Psychosis staggered to the side, hissing under his breath as he tried in vain to protect his ears against the sound. He had no clue what was happening now. First this dragon appeared, then these other pokemon came out of nowhere. All he wanted was the damned mirror...

~

"Never seen one of you before." Asher said to Draxis, looking up at the Golett. "Do you know what this place is?"

Baaz seemed to jolt from his daze, turning to growl at the rest of the group. "What are you doing here? It's dangerous, damn it. You shouldn't have followed me!"

Buzzard had teleported along with, and roared back at the ice dragon, trying to drown out the roar. Always happy to start the fight, flames began spouting from his mouth, condensing into magma.
Buzzard uses Eruption! ((Charizards don't know this, but he's a little beyond that now.))

((Okay, Darkrai followed in the teleport. Or something.))

Darkrai had quickly turned into his shadowform, and flitted over to the wall behind Kyurem. Reforming, he began charging up a Dark Void in one hand and a Dark Pulse in the other hand. "Hey ugly!", he yelled at the dragon-thing.

Kyurem snarled at the strage dragon-like creature attacking him. He charged though the burning Magma, uncaring of the burns now bubbling on his hide, to come face to face with Buzzard. With a deep inhale, the ice dragon breathed out a frigid cloud of ice crystals, swinging his head around to try and hit as many of the other intruders as possible.

Kyurem used Glaciate!
