School holidays means no shuttle is running this week, the on-demand bus has a stupid schedule and so all my plans for this afternoon won't work out because I forgot about the holiday week. Plus 5hr driving theory mandatory course ahead, I hope it doesn't last a full 5 hrs!

Do you know those people, who work in customer service / receptionist jobs, who's job it is to sound *VERY* happy all the time? And at the same time you still cant stand the sound of their overly fake happy "CAN I HELP U PLOX" voice?

Realized I am now one of those people. Disgusted.

I've been told I "sound like barbie" when I work. When I did mcD's drive through.. I was actually told that some people had to take off/turn down their head sets cause they couldn't stand it <.< But, I'm totally not myself when I work service jobs, just because if I was, the stress on top of my normal anxiety and all that I would PROBABLY not have my job for very long, haha.

Ugh, the happy retail voice. I remember using it a few times to my enjoyment though. When certain customers are just complete asses and continue to get more and more angry, instead of rising to the bait I'd just become more and more sickeningly polite and it was hilarious to see how frustrated they would get when I wouldn't start yelling back at them.

My rant:

New town, new job, working 6 days a week. I have everything that I could carry in a backpack and suitcase. Been thinking about using Meetup or something to meet people since this city is huge and all. But yeah... I don't really get much time to do anything especially on my own. Talk to like two of my friends back home every once in awhile, but alas it's still pretty eh lonely? I mean I'm surrounded by people but yeah >_>

GRRRR I power walked all the way to campus cause all the buses were full so I could get to my lab on time. And I get here literally JUST on time, legs burning (but kinda in a good way)... Only to find no one else here and to remember "Oh crap... they don't always do stuff on the same week as thanksgiving..."

Oh well.. I need to study for nutrition anyways :/

I really don't want to study anymore. Anyone want to work on my nutrition notes for me? I have PDFs from the class slides.. and then my own notes typed... <.< I'm just consolidating them and making sure I have only the important info.. But... It's boring...

Decided it was a good idea not to sleep at all. Not so smart. Kinda fun right now, though. But it's only 8 am and I'm at breakfast so I don't think I have a real opinion about anything other than food right now.

Also I am an 80s hipster today with clothes. RAWR.

Seriously.. I like my prof... some of the concepts for nutrition are okay... But... I'm more into the animal stuff. More into the macro stuff... and I still have a LOT of slides to go over... like.. well.. 5 more lectures worth... noo.. soooo boring..

I wish I could just do the practice exam.. and see how I'd do, but problem is the right answers are already underlined... it's REALLY hard to get a true test of your current knowledge when the practice has the answers right there... Cause you're instantly biased....

Look at it this way. The loud ones are usually harmless and aren't toxic.

It's the silent but deadly ones you want to watch out for. My sister is like a gas grenade waiting to happen. You do not want to stay in the same building with her when she's going.

My rp buddy's phone broke so our rp time is extremely limited cause his mom has a crappy internet plan that goes by minutes.
