It's hard to tell in the rgeenish light! Where are these? :) Somewhere in Val'sharah it seems. I think they must be pretty new.

It's often easier to look at the NPC portrait, which isn't affected by zone lighting.

Actually, those are definitely the missing green colour!!

If you compare the grey and the green ones, the green has light antlers and the grey dark. This will be the same regardless of zone lighting:

I'm happy about the core hound updates, but alas, I am sad about Gomegaz. He's the only one I was able to click with on Rhyela. I liked his different fire/body color. Hopefully they can fix him!

They are in the Emerald Dreamway, seems to be a Druid portal hub, not sure how Hunters are going to get there. Here is doe and fawn, fawn is cute and freaks out randomly, I want one

If they are only in the Emerald Dreamway, then hunters can't get them. Only druids can get in there :(

Ok so I has a confusion.
On WoWhead Svarnos actually shows as tamable. Truth???
For me, he also shows as having red fire like Gomegaz. Also thruth?

Where as Uvuros shows as having the green fire.

Is WoWHead just displaying Svarnos wrong for me or is he a high res tamable version of Gomegaz?

Svarnos is tamable. I checked yesterday. From what I saw, he was a Fel Core Hound with green fire.

Oh no. That's just cruel! ;) hopefully they'll add another source. The Dreamway area teleports you out a few seconds after entering. So unless one wanders close to the entrance (or to the eagle flight point at the back) then it's unlikely we'll tame them.

There is a White Eagle named Salty on Seabreak Isle off the western coast of Azsuna.

One can cast Beast Lore on it and begin the taming process, but the tame spell finishes without the pet. Also, attacking the creature causes all enemies (Merlocks and the Eagle) to disappear from the Island.

Ah, I know the area. Things there just randomly phases out after a while even if you just stand there :/ bit weird right now.

You may wanna check your call pets. I've had the tame beast process finish and nothing happen, only to find several copies in my call pet slots (because I tried over and over). it was a weird error.

The Terrified Yak in Kun-lai Summit is now tameable, at least on the PTR. Has a click sound as well.

Nope. None of those have been made tamable or have had a new tamable version made. Though anything is possible, I think Blizz is about done with making things tamable or adding new tamable pets. We'll see :)

Thanks! I thought that one was not attackable. But maybe they changed it, or maybe it is attackable in some situations.

Y'all have been absolutely incredible, so I thought I'd do my part too!

I'll be taming every pet I can in legion (rare/challenge tames) and uploading videos on how to tame them as I found it extremely annoying to figure these things out on my own (although still fun as hell XD)

I'll try and retame Rush and Treble and post videos, but for now, I'm in grad school and have 3 exams on Monday alone so I can't promise I'll be able to pump out videos like crazy.

But for now, here's visual instructions on how to tame the new Spirit Beast, Bulvinkel
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q_IbCdmXJak

And the new mechanical squirrel, N.U.T.Z.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bYJC5Pw1y1Q

If you have any suggestions on how I can improve these videos to y'alls' liking, please let me know!
Also if you want any specific hunter tame videos, also let me know :)

Also you're more than welcome to watch the other (mostly embarrassing) videos i've made XD

I looked into it a little closer and it seems this mob exists twice with different behavior.

One version of the mob is ridden by the yaungol and will despawn as soon as their rider is attacked.

The other is running away from yaungol trying to chase it. This one can be targetted, attacked, and tamed.

The two, judging by wowhead, seem to share the same ID (59339). The one being ridden can not be targetted in any situation, but can be seen with track beast.

I think you got confused as there are also Escaped Yak NPCs there, which are other than name and ID (59319) identical to the Terrified Yaks. Escaped Yaks indeed can not be attacked and thus not tamed, but can be targetted.

EDIT: Uploaded a screenshot of all three cases.

Ohhh ok. That area was a bit of a jumble. So many different mobs running all over the place. Thanks so much for sorting it out. I'll fix up the list :)
