But: why are tauren the only ones that have legs under the robes? Dwarves and orcs still have that terrible "hole".
Darned kids, always trying to peek up someone's robes. I guess I can't blame 'em, though. After all, we Tauren *are* the sexiest race on Azeroth.

It's generally more of a cattle thing than it is for antelope and other bovines. Bulls tend to have larger humps than cows. I assume that'd due to them fighting more.

In the original posting showing the brown Tauren and comparing the new with the old, the hump on the new one looked much bigger.

I think that's just positioning.

I really wouldn't worry about the slipper boots and other such things. Modelviewer is notoriously buggy; does anyone remember when male worgen had a floating severed arm under their feet? I'm sure it'll be fine once it's, you know, complete and in Beta at the very least. XD

Yeah, keep in mind that none of the models are actually DONE yet, and there's oodles of time for polishing to happen to fix the weirdness. Then again, I made that same argument to my guild leader about female Pandaren helms during the Mists beta and it never actually got fixed and is currently live, so...

That looks like a painful way to tuck your ears into your hat.

Male pandaren have the same issue. I wanted to use the Whitemane's Chapeau on my mage, but his ears disappear :(

Dwarf Female Model Comparison

So I was checking out my hunter using wowhead's profile system and noticed that her face was a bit different than the preview model we were shown on the official site. I'm happy to see that there ARE different faces (I know I was not alone in my concern of the one face that worgens and pandas got). I'm pretty happy with the body revamp, but some of the faces really have no relation to the original. I took some screenshots for comparison:

In addition: I was looking mainly at the female characters that have the new models. Orcs right now are all showing the same new model when you load one up. Gnomes however, have some variations:

We've got a topic to post the new character models. Two of them, actually. One for updated, one for comparing old and new.

There's currently 10 possible female dwarf faces, if not all 10 are done (or ordered the same) for the new models, then they might not look like they match. Xota uses the 10th face, and I'd like to see what wowhead predicts she'll look like. Is that a premium service? because I can't figure out how to do it.

Hey Junrei! -- I did see that second model post, but it looked like it was only for animals/creatures. Sorry!

Xota -- It's not a premium service. Just go to wowhead and to their profiler and you can load up your character:

S'all good. :) I think the topic is supposed to be for all.

Also how do you make the new models show? :O

EDIT: Nevermind. Guess the Draenei just aren't in there.

Using the link I posted above (http://www.wowhead.com/list) you can look up particular characters from the Armory. The catch to seeing the different models is finding an active character on the armory with the face you'd like to see. I wound up using the WHU guild on Icecrown as a reference -- plenty of dwarves to choose from! lol

Also, I found that if you register with wowhead (which is free), things seem to load quicker when you log-in. You can also save six or so profiles to a list.

Happy with the dwarf females, not happy with the gnome females. I don't mind as much that the eyes are large, but that they show too much white. And I really dislike the weird smirk they gave all of them. The base mouth should have a more neutral expression.

I made the mistake of checking out my dwarves.

"My dwarves" is a stretch, though. They don't look anything like they're supposed to.

I was fine with model updates so long as it was an actual UPDATE, not a complete changing of their character.

That's a real dealbreaker for me. :/
