Well you either have a very good (or very bad) economy on your server.
I view things completely and totally opposite, you're perfectly entitled to your opinion and so I won't try to change it; however, I always put everyone in the group > any one single person. If the people who need the BoE checked the "trash drops" list for that instance and then clearly stated at the beginning of the run, the only reason they're here is to try and get that particualr item, then I don't have a problem. If not, then i'll just need on it if I see someone else need on it. We did a Heroic DM run the other day and a nice BOE epic drops, first thing the tank says, was: "everyone need." -- Two of us only had the greed option lit up, and so he asked us two to /roll and if we beat his need roll he'd trade it to us. (That's just the way I think it should be, and it was very polite and an overall good run.)
--
The majority of people I come across in runs agree with me in this regard, but everyone has their own opinions, they don't see eye to eye and this is what causes a lot of groups to clash, QQ and makes individuals ragequit in the middle of a run. (Happened to a tank in heroic the other day who lost a BoE tank item to a ret pally, they should've both greeded and if they didn't win, then big deal it's just loot..)

that goes back to what a person's focus may or may not be. To some people the gear is the end, to me it's the means to an end. When I was doing ICC runs before the expansion, I would pass on the mark from Saurfang every time because while it would have been nice, and I was certainly entitled to one without even rolling for it I was more than content to defer to people who had been in that regular group getting a second one over me getting a first one.
I think what blizzard may find, at least initially is that people are going to be more inclined to use the dungeon finder as a last resort. And that they certainly won't use it for heroics. I'm at a stage after a group the other day that I'd rather lull myself to sleep with Archy than join a LFD pug. The Tank and Heals were from the same guild and the usual small minded mental processes about being as offensive as possible in regards to race and sexual orientation. They constantly considered everyone else in the group to be afking all the time because we weren't carrying conversations, and then the clincher for me was when we got to the first boss (in Halls of Origination) when I was the only dps to go flip a switch to get the bubble off of the boss, and died as I flipped the second switch. The group wiped, and I heard the asanine comment of "What happened there?" by the tank before I was willing to preserve my sanity by leaving the group before I had returned for my corpse.

Get to Karsh.
Pally tank claiming he's been here countless times on his DK and that he's been here several times on his pally.
Pally tank pulls Karsh into fire. Pally never pulls him out. We wipe.
Pally tries excuse of 'I don't know tacts'. We get mad and flat out say if you don't know tacts, ask ffs. I have been in several runs where tank or dps did not know tacts and it was explained. Though admitedly I have had a few accidents happen, myself included on the second boss fight [I didn't realize I was to close to 100 stacks and well blamo dragon being cc'd by my own pet]. So he asks for tacts and we give him. Everything sounds good, right?
Nooooooooooooooooooooooooo.
Pally pulls him into fire- pally has gear for 2 stacks atm. Maybe. Pally lets him stack to 9+. AoE wipes group, pally QQ's from harassment of rogue and dps pally, drops group. Thankfully ignore did NOT glitch up and I managed to ignore his crybaby wrathbaby ass ._.

I've only ever ran that place once on an undergeared DK tank, but if you're talking about the quicksilver armor guy, I accidentally pulled him, along with the adds, and the slimes came alive. I was laughing like "LOL, heroics practice teim! <3" we aoe'd down all of the mobs and then moved on to the boss and killed him with 0 deaths. XD; didn't even know the fight it was just pure improvisation and the shammy healer was excellent.
Unfortunately it only takes one person to turn a good group into a living hell. >_>;
Had another pally healer the other day; barely healed; never went below 80% mana, would periodically go afk.. by the time we got to the last boss, after standing there for 3 minutes I just figured "screw it.." and ran in healing myself as I tried to tank. I almost died at the end, but at least we killed the boss. I just wanted out of that group. =/

I died a little inside...that boss is the easiest there! X_x; even on heroic! The other bosses really REALLY suck.

Maybe for the dps, but it can be very rough on the tank. Sometimes Karsh doesn't want to move at all, which makes the kiting difficult.
That said, I'm fed up with tanks that do the fight wrong. It's one thing when Karsh is being cranky and another for the tank to not bother at all. It's pretty easy to keep the stack up permanently without letting him sit in the fire, so there are never any adds that spawn, provided that Karsh isn't being cranky (and that honestly doesn't happen that often). It's not too much burst AoE healing either, since there are grace periods between the buff refreshes.

Oh I know. I had that happen where he was just being a butthead. He didnt wanna play a game of tag....the tank is in my guild, and it was a guild run so we were laughing after WTFing about it. As a druid kitty, I was running and jumping around him going "C'mon! Follow the kitty! Follow the pretty kitty! Hey! Hey you! Over here! C'mon!"
He pretty much have me the middle finger that time. XD But it made me laugh. My guild was rolling too. So I suppose that made the bug a little more amusing.

Yeah but it wasn't the bug. The pally and him sat in the fire and we died, the healer just couldn't keep up with the healing that the tank required [he had barely 40ishk hp]
All he did was expect it to be a faceroll wrath dungeon and while I admit it can be faceroll with the right set up [mostly a damn good healer of damn goodness] and even after explaining the tacts he sat him on the fire, auurg.
Mean I'm a former wrath baby yet even bad memory i can still grasp most tactics ._.

Well why I said with right set up.
1: Five people with brains
2: Healer with more than 30k mana
3: Tank who has End gear ICC or bumped up to cata greens
4: DPS who are not buttheads
5: people who listen to tacts
tho admitedly just having #1 and #5 make things good. Even when things are bad, mean I had a run in throne of tides the other day. You'd think joining a dungeon in progress and especially after they had evidently a wipe or things got hairy.. and then go into a boss fight with an afk healer who shortly got kicked, it'd be bad, no?
No we all actually had fun. Especially since we all got to experience the draenei mostly first hand.
OH GOD THE FIRE BURNS!
TURN HIM AWAY TURN HIM AWAY!
TURNING DOES NOTHING MY SCREEN IS ON FIRE.
OH GOD OUR INTERUPTS ARE ON COOLDOWN.
We got burninated but it was all good lol.

I've never had any trouble with that guy, he's without a doubt the easiest boss i've fought in the game during the last 6 years, he goes down within 20-30 sec and kiting him through the fire is a cake walk; if it's tough on anyone i'd say it's the healer.. (unless i'm missing something)

It's rough on the tank because the tank is basically in control of everything. The healer and dps just do their normal jobs, the only exception for the healer being handling the possible burst damage while the boss is staying in the fire, but if the tank does that correctly, it shouldn't be too stressful for the healer. The only person who really has to do anything unusual on the fight is the tank...and at lesser gear levels, this can get dodgy on heroic, regardless of how good the tank is.

BRD...yes, BRD. Easy Dungeon, very easy. BRD.
Tank: I've never been her before
Me: Thats ok, follow me, i'll lead the way
(Druid tank, me on my rogue, a warlock, mage and hunter)
First boss:
Me: This boss fears, so keep her in the room else we will get adds.
Tank: Ok
Tank proceeds to pull boss out of room and into hall where we are of course, feared into no less then 3 mobs...wipe
Me: Did I mention the boss fears and we need to tank her in the room?
2nd...3rd...4rth try, repeat of 1st attempt.
Ok, lets not do this boss, lets go do the big fire giant guy.
Me: Ok, we are going to CC the mobs to make it easier, so please dont pull till we're set up
Tank: Ok
I start stealthing over to sap, hex/sleeps and freeze traps are getting set...Tank runs in breaks CC, we wipe (or almost, I am really loving my vanish by this point) repeat this for every mob. and the concept that the Medic needs to die first is...non-exsistant.
30min later we get to the giant fire guy thats 2min from the dungeon entrance.
We've now gone through 3 healers, 6dps, and 2 tanks...I am the last of the original group left...We down boss...yay...
go back to first boss...tank pulls out of room...oh look...fear...wipe.
retry, 2nd time tank stays in room, we down her. Oh good, a goodybag...so long fucktards!
And today was far to many BRD Dark iron King runs...you know that room with all the fast respawning adds and you have to get the torches? ... Yeah, concepts like stick together, and dont use AoE's or totems...Dont run off by yourself...
I am really really liking my Vanish more and more, its right up there with my F.D.

This is so laughably bad...
Throne of Tides
Bear tank
Rogue (don't recall spec)
BM Hunter
Fury Warrior
Disc Priest (me)
Bad CC and split dps. Warrior sat in Stormwind whining for most of it. The others were from the same server. Not much more to say other than that I actually left before the last wipe because it was that bad. >_< And I never do that. :/

I went with friends later and got ToT. It was hilarious as to how much better it all was. Tank could take a hit, dps was good and could CC. Major difference.

Most of the CC in there is "See that marked target? No touch. Go maul the skull over there."
I mean compared to BRC, ToT is a joke. Lol!

Amusingly ended up in BRC as well today. The tank was allergic to CC, and he had queued with the rogue and mage. The rogue was sapping on heavy pulls, but the pally would just break it immediately. His gear meant he could mostly handle it, but my mana pool was very strained for the duration of the instance and there were a few deaths. (My mana pool is under 90k still. >_<)
Sigh. Definitely done for the night.

so Rosalyn just got into Stonecore :D
I decided to use this as a time to bump Nemesis, my green raptor up. If I can't have Krush yet, I will have my reobtained raptor! So I have her on passive and for the most part things go smoothly, as well she's lv 80 and I don;t wanna pull accidentally. I lag a bit and ma a bit rusty on the big packs as I'm not sure which one I have to really focus on and whatnot, but, things are fine. Crap dies, tank tanks, no one complains....
That is, no one complains until we get to erf, Slabhide? And the war dps mentions the reins can drop! and we're all :D
Until the tank decides, NO I WILL HAVE IT. None of you, ONLY ME. Cause only I can use it! Cause only I am lv 85! Cause I'm boosting you all! Cause I'm the tank! We as the dps all lol at him and his asshole stupidity and down the boss and guess what. No dragon, and tank is like WHERE IS MY MOUNT.
And then the abuse starts, he starts nick picking about dps. I figure it's the war or the DK. Seems nope he was attacking me. Cause war and DK were doing 25% and I was doing 19%. So when I go /cry the war is all it's just a norm mate, nothing to be so upset over :p
and I was like I know :p
But then the tank still attacks me and I'm all dude look at my pet, look at her level. I am not risking pulling with her. And he's all LEARN TO CONTROL YOUR PET and I'm like that has nothing to do with it... so the war is like pf, fuck him, just use it. This is normal not heroic, so I'm all alright fine, and do so.
So we get to the boss. Everything is going well...
But then the DK doesn't run away fast enough on one SMASH move, dies. Then the tank dies. Then the war is tanking, and not sure the healer was really fucking healing. Then it's me and the boss, me and the boss, Deterrence and run away and FD. Then boss is on Nemesis. GO NEMESIS GO GO GO and I'm dpsing as fast as I can and the boss dies... and then so does Nemesis ;.;
Then... the tank actually rages. HUNTER HOW DID YOU NOT DIE!?!
and I go; I AM A GOD! A GOOOOOOOOOOOOD /cheer
And he actually goes; No, you are a troll.
Which ofc makes me, the war and the DK look at him like he's a blind retard or just a retarded idiot. Then he starts picking up the abuse again, purposely lets us nearly wipe again and then him and his buttbuddy healer friend refuse to rez the war and the DK. Why?
Because you're all idiots.
So tired of the abuse, WE KICK HIM. Then we get an epic tank, who explains the last boss tactics to me, doesn't seem to care about dps from dps aslong as they dps, and actually was happy and thanked me when I pulled Topaz out when he mistook the healer for a pally and asked for kings.
It was a crappy run but the war, the new tank and the DK made it damn worth it.
edit: Topaz is a shale spider. Squeeeek squeeek
