Ahem, it's Shaon, not Sharon please and thank you. I'm from Boston, we drop our 'r's like hot rocks.

And no, I have never parked my car in Harvard Yard, for the record.

So THAT'S where the name came from!

Nope, Shaon popped up in a Thallassian dictionary someone had made and translated as Thorn.

But, yeah, 15 miles or so north of Boston, the accent does creep in now and then, much as I try to quash it.

My felguard is named Shaaron. ^^

May I request that we turn that rocket around and point it directly at the storm bearing down on my region? The dang thing threatens my escape! To the abyss with this winter and its weekly snow storms! I swear, I'm gonna start sacrificing ice cubes if this doesn't stop!

I chuckle at the thought of Shaon outside, carving up ice cubes...

"What are you doing?"

"Sacrificing ice cubes to the storm so it stops!"

"Ah... ok then..."

Yeah, but who's going to have to take care of them? Not them, not Sat, but me. And then I'm going to have to send them to the Nether, and -then- Maxwell and Sharoon will try to mess me up for sending their kids to the Nether.

Okay, so this is the worst case scenario that I had hoped to avoid. According to reports, not only will it snow, it will do so on Tuesday and on Wednesday. Wednesday's weather will be a lovely mix of snow, ice, and rain. All day.

Our flight is at 3pm. We're not sure at this point what will happen to us at this point. We're making calls now. What I hope will not happen is this; with snow on Tuesday, I'm hoping that there's no real trouble with flights out and little gets canceled (a vain hope, I know). If things get backed up at the lovely airport of Logan in Boston, then they could back up to Wednesday and impede flights then with airlines trying to get people out.

So keep your fingers crossed for us.

oi speaking of ice, i broke and took off all the icicles on my front deck 2 days ago (some were about 2-4 feet in length), i look this morning, and they're all back :/

Fun to break, but annoying that something isnt good with our roof that allows massive ones to build up

So the Southwest Airlines site isn't giving me any info on the flight at all. Ketch thinks we may not make it out until Thursday, or he's hoping to get bumped and get free tickets. That's all well and good, but I want this trip now. After all, I took time from work for this trip.

They haven't left yet.

Haven't even left Boston yet. Wanting to go from cold winter bleck to warm Floridian (woooo!) sun! But Old Man Winter, he laughs at our escape attmept.

Just checked the airlines flight updates, we're still in the green it seems. but Logan is open and flights are going in and out. It's tomorrow's wintry mix (read; icy rain) that worries me. Still gotta pack hubby's bags...
