;-; lucky
My dad asked me if I really wanted to see it, and of course I said yes. He even got me the poster they use on movie showcase displays (he knows a theatre owner so)

Yesterday he says, "Sorry, I'm the parent, and you're not allowed to see the movie. It's rated R because I said so...so no."

These disconnects are getting really fucking annoying making me think about quitting this time for good. I'm sure most of you have been dealing with this shit for sometime now, on the forums they are blaming Comcast well I do not use Comcast so that idea goes flying out the window makes it more and more a Blizzard problem so either they fix this or that's it I will finally hang up my hunter gun.

Well, I do use comcast and I'm not getting booted, so it's honestly probably just a bad gateway between you and the servers and not actually Blizzard's problem at all (which explains why they're like 'um, provider maybe?')

The internet is held together with spit and prayer, I'm surprised this kind of crap doesn't happen -more-.

A psychopathic religious fanatic has murdered 53 of my brethren.
I don't know whether to be more angry or sad.

I'm horrified and stunned. I'm nauseated. This is so, so awful.

Don't let the media paint this as a religious terrorist attack.

The guy's father even stated it was purely because he was homophobic. He wasn't observing Ramadan or anything. Because his name is 'Omar' the media wants to report it as religious based terrorism (because YAY MORE WAR LOL) and not as the simple (if horrible) hate crime that it is.

I would take anything the guy's father said with a LARGE grain of salt.
His father once ran for president of Afghanistan and was an avid supporter (it's all on record) of the Taliban.
The son was a regular at the mosque.

he was homophobic.. and guess where he learned to hate LGBT people? it didn't just pop up out of thin air.
it was indoctrinated into him via his religion.

the shooter HAD been investigated for potential terrorist links in the past, but not enough information was available for the police to do anything about it.

There's NO reason to let someone get away with a religiously-motivated terror attack simply because we are afraid to put the blame squarely where it belongs: on religious fundamentalism. And I am not aiming at any specific faith, but at ALL faiths that have fundamentalist factions.

An ultra-orthodox Jew killed an innocent 16yr old girl during pride in Israel. He had already been in jail for violence during previous pride events.

There are innumerable accounts of violence against LGBT people by (so-called) Christian fundamentalists.
Hell, the majority of Republican presidential wannabes in this year's race have at some point or other espoused views that would have LGBT people either jailed or killed.

NO single faith is innocent.
The minute ultra-orthodoxy/fundamentalism is allowed to flourish within the walls of a religious institution, that is the minute that ALL members of that institution must take responsibility for allowing it to happen.

The whole thing makes me so angry and the fact that it's becoming normal. One idiot should not be able to cost 53 families loved ones. And the politicians are as bad as he is using it for their own gain or talking about protecting gun laws before even mentioning the victims or sympathy for the family. Trump simply thanked everyone for proving him right, the nerve. Couldn't spare a single thought for the victims.

Oh, he didn't WANT thanks, that's just smugging because he thinks he's right. He just wants everyone to be angry, hypervigilant/paranoid, and militant. BECAUSE MUSLIMS.

Even if they did...who in their right freakin' mind takes a gun to a NIGHT CLUB.

That's right, only CRAZY MURDEROUS people. Even if they had firearms, which hell, some of them might have for all I know, you leave that shit in the locked glovebox or something, you don't have it in your pocket in a night club, 'cause that's dumb. That's how you get accidental discharge on the dance floor.

I like the RP forum community overall, but sometimes OOC discussions about lore end up getting so toxic it makes me just want to avoid that place forever. Ugh.

(To clarify, I'm talking about the official WoW forum's RP forum, not the one here ^^)

Just found out I have degenerative disc disease in my spine on top of the fibro, lpr, lung problems, and other fun things. One more mountain to climb and all I really want to do is make some vector art. Ah well I just have to keep telling myself I can handle a little more pain and be as active as I can.

Rerrghghghh... there's this lady on a boutique-perfumery-fanpage I happen to follow on facebrick.

As long as you're 100% positive everything is golden but you say one thing that isn't complete rainbows and she just cops this raging tude.

They just announced a very limited super extra fancy big bottle product. It's $150. Now... given that there's no alcohol and it's probably fabulous given everyone's opinions... I'm sure it's worth it. Stuff's expensive. However, in my currently mostly-unemployed state I just can't afford to fork out $150 for a bottle of pretty smelly especially when I have lots of stuff I like just fine already.

I make the comment that the price point is too high for my personal budget and she immediately goes all defensive about how much 'luxe perfumes' cost (which is true, they're ludicrous even though I hate the way they smell) and how this is a great deal and well SHE will gladly shell out for it.

And I'm like 'well fine but I don't have a steady income and I think I might need that money for like the power bill' and she immediately is all 'well I'm a single mother that stays home and takes care of a child with disabilities' like 'well /I/ can do it, so I'm obvs a better person than you'. And meanwhile I'm like 'so where is your income coming from lady because I doubt that kid's eating sawdust and gravel you found beside the road'.... but I didn't say that because it'll just crank her up more. Seriously, how can you be an 'unemployed single mom caring for a special needs child' and casually blow out $150 for a complete luxury? I'm not one of those people screaming POOR PEOPLE CAN'T HAVE NICE THINGS because yeah, there's a percentage of my small budget for eating out 'cause I really like doing it but jfc she must spend hundreds a month on this stuff and like...what's she eating? How's she paying the rent or the water bill?

...I bet she's a trust fund baby. It's gotta be that 'cause I can't think of anything else...

Edit: No she doesn't work for them. I think she's a mod for the facebrick group but mostly she's just their most rabid fan, apparently.

This isn't a total rant but I'm not sure where else it would go.. It's about my hunter confusion in Legion.

OKAY, So I've been playing the PTR since it opened, and finally got a good idea of how to run around with it since it's always very buggy and crashy in the initial opening. I was playing hunter of course. I copied my main. And I was ??? So confused?? What happened to my BM LOL? I have next to no idea what I'm doing. So I got all distraught. Then I decided to try Survival.

Which. is a blast. I love it. I mean? I never thought I'd enjoy it.. But I do?? Augh.
That's where part of my problem comes from. My main has always been BM. Nearly half my stable is exotics.
I can't just. abandon them. And I REALLY love the BM artifact! But... (Unless I'm missing something or DOIN' IT WRONG,) BM is literally no fun whatsoever anymore. And the yelling is annoying. Only thing I liked is the orange glow so far.

I have? No idea. What to do. Maybe.. I should just leave him alone. Maybe I will take one of my other hunters and make it my main so I can play Survival and have fun.. But there's still the artifact problem. I'm so in love with the Hati idea.
And the Survival artifact is just.. Not as fun.. The Alpha/wolf spear model is pretty.. But.. Yeah.

I am sad and confuse =(

That being said.. Outlaw rogue is so fun? I really, really had a blast playing around with it? I like it a lot so far.

Bleh. I've always taken changes in stride, making the best of it and relearning my spec, but this.. It almost feels like too much this time.

Sorry if this comes off as whiny... I'm not trying to be. lol

god DAMN moving to completely new places is such a clusterfuck event

we got here and we relied way too heavily on there being a wifi hotspot around for me to use as temp internet, so we called comcast and they could only get someone out a week from when we called them last (which was last sunday or something around that)

we had to run all over the place to buy household things because my aunt didnt have any pots, pans, or actual dishes cause she was never home to really cook before with two jobs

we've pretty much been living off hot pockets, restaurants, and fast food the last week but im not complaining about that, only about the price of the restaurants and fast food places because holy fuck expensive

then we learned that one of our outlets (the one right next to the cable outlet, which means the tv HAS to be plugged in there) is actually faulty to the point it almost burnt the tv out (twice!) and we had to get one of the apartment repair people to come have a look at it. he was technically working overtime at that point cause we caught them right at the end of the day so he's coming back out tomorrow to look more fully at it but he's pissed because the wiring in our apartment is fucked up and that should've been fixed before we moved in and thats making more work for him to have to come back and re-fix. and he's not entirely sure where the wires for that outlet go except into the wall, so i feel like we might be having a lot of people coming in and (hopefully not, but maybe) demo'ing that particular wall to get at the wiring tho idk how they'd do that cause that wall is the one with the breaker box on it

and then the tv was on the fritz for the first week too and we had to get that looked at and holy fuck it's been just all over the place lately

its warm here too, more than it has been the last couple days cause its not raining, and im miserably hot and uhhdghhghdg ;o;
