I'm going to tell you a story, and it's really quite stupid. Sorry about that.
See, one day I thought it would be fun to make a dragon that reminded me of my partner. He's a big guy, and not exactly a skinny chap either, so the breed was clear. I didn't like male Snappers at the time so I figured I'd get a female for laughs. We often joke that I'm the man in our relationship anyway. Colours were clear too, he loves orange and his hair is dark, so fire/obsidian was the choice. I was lucky to find a Tundra girl on sale the same day, and promptly bought her. He's an idealist so Light was a good flight, and he's temperamental, so I thought the fire apparel and sprite suited him well. He's earthy and works well with his hands and I always imagined he could have been a blacksmith back in the middle ages, so her profession was easy to pick too. In time I breed changed her and gave her the tiger primary, mainly because it looks best on fire in my opinion. The name was easy too, since my partner is called Roman and Roma is a nice girl's name that I even like. Here she is, for those of you who don't remember her.
She made a lot of pretty babies with a green Snapper I used to own, but in time he and I parted ways and Roma was left alone. I intended for her to be kept so, although toyed with a silly and sentimental idea of making a dragon that was Roman's vision of me. But when I asked him what breed I'd be in his opinion, he said an Imperial. Already I was unsure. Imperial and Snapper? Nuh-uh, that ain't happening. And the colours? Black and red? Okay, I can do that...but wait, what? Black body and red wings? That would have a horrible colour spread with Roma. So I gave up on the idea. Good thing too.
Then. Today. I spent a huge chunk of cash to make space for the dragons I'd been stupidly buying left, right and center. I don't know WHAT possessed me to go on the AH, but at a ridiculous price of 13K (less than the PC I bought earlier) there was this guy.
13K? BLACK CLOWN? CRIMSON? MIDNIGHT TERTIARY? 13K???
So, since there is no male version of the name Sofia, he's now Philosophia, and yes...will be making horribly ugly babies with a Snapper...
