I like the bow! And do you use battletags? You could probably round up a small posse of petopians to help get Loque. I can chuck mine out here and check periodically. I still need to grab me an emerald protowhelp so I'll likely be cruising about.

I still have not even found a single track of Bombyx's O_o

I'm beginning to wonder if the location is right, lol. (Between Dawnreaver and the other place xD)

I found him there..Only because I was killing other stuff and happened over some silkweed o_O it is SOHARD to tell the difference

The location is right. He's just very difficult to track.

He's definitely there. I just picked a spot where I found the silkweed trail and flared it.

In all fairness, the new 5.1 rares weren't really advertised anywhere, he might have thought it to be one of just random rares to drop a green.

BTW, I better hope they don't drop the tears of loyalty. 25 gold on a low-level char could be a lot.

Far as I know they drop greens like any other azeroth rare.

Is it deserving of consolation that I'm kinda sad and disappointed that so many once-unique rares and hard-to-get tames (for example, Madexx, who no longer has any unique-to-it skins with Toxx now added) are no longer as unique?

I mean, is it selfish of me to want my special pets to remain special?

Well, yes and no. CRZ's made it incredibly difficult to get rares. I get so excited flying over them, then I land, my game jerks and ... no rare. Even if the zone is totally empty.

If nothing else, think of it as a chance to meet someone who enjoys the same pet look as you do.

But we all like to be special sometimes.

I'm not so sure about CRZ making rare-getting harder - I sought Green Madexx for close to two months, and within a few days of CRZ launching, I got him.

Yeah, if you're on a low population realm, CRZ still doesn't affect it much. Zones that previously had only 1 person in it (you) now have... 1 person in it. Three tops. See, certain zones just aren't very popular, and no one, on any server, goes there. Meanwhile zones that were already heavily populated on your realm will fail to trigger CRZ because there's already enough people.

I finally saw a minfernal up. Excited, I dove for it. A nearby rogue apparently realized I was going to beat them and promptly used fan of knives and killed it. :/

Thats so just being bitter. Im sorry that happened had someone kill a mini pet rare spawn from me too ((HUGS))

Was camping for Pogeyan tame. Mage killed it and did /point and /lol

I was flying over Dustwallow Marsh and saw a Spawn of Onyxia up. One freaking-out-and-flying to the location later, not seconds after I land does a level 90 ally swoop down and initiate a pet battle.
