That lucky duck, color me jealous.

Here are the three newest mounts I obtained this week...

I finally did it got my Twilight Drake with the help from a friend...

Well, I ended up with another mountless Hallow's end (making it year seven!) but I think these two beauties made up for it.

First off, I decided to start farming the grey camel again. I found some figurines during Cata but just didn't keep up with it. But while getting the qiraji battletank a few weeks back, I ran across two more figurines, and that's what sparked that interest again. Anyways ... to the point. Last night npc scan went off over neferset and lo-and-behold, it was cached as 50409! I frantically searched the ground and it took me minutes until I finally located it. Talk about a heart attack. I actually found three statues (this real one as well as two fakes) at neferset, out of eight total.



Then tonight at around 11:10 pm, Mandokir was finally nice to me. I had actually ran it months on end, every single day, on my hunter and druid... but tonight I decided to give it a try for the first time on my monk. Oh man am I glad I made that choice.



I actually got the camel on my monk, too... Hmm..

Gratz!! Your monk seems very lucky! Ive found many fake camels but gave up too....I do need to keep digging for my battletank though! Enjoy your lovely new mounts

Somehow this mount is mine and I'm still in shock.

An ungodly rep grind finally came to an end. Despite a 40hour work week, a new house and 2 cats I managed to farm the rep for this beauty quite fast.

WOW everyone has been either really lucky or hard at work obtaining all these mounts! Congrats everybody!

I swore I was going to try upload mount accomplishments as they happened but I've had crazy work hours and a lot to do so here's another bumper post with things as far back as Brewfest!

On my first year of doing Brewfest I was lucky enough to get the Kodo... Now on my third year I finally get the ram!!


That's me making a very good use of it while camping Huolon! I do like the Ram mounts however I feel they may be due for an upgrade from all the weird fur. My ever lucky Hunter got the drop!



A week later my fiance entered the room to see me dancing in my chair, arms in the air and everything... because THIS happened!!



EYYAAAAAA! Ok I say I love a lot of drake designs and that they are all cool but this is THE one guys! Before all my mount collecting madness back when I first started, I thought they were all really hard to get or you could only get certain ones or use the one at a time... daft I know... I was looking at all the skins online and on the game and I saw the Onyxian model and thought "Wow that is the best! It has everything a dragon should have. Wings, spikes, claws and it's in the best colours!! That is the one I want to use."

As far as models go it ended up being one of the last for me to ever get. My shaman was the lucky toon this time! On her 23rd kill after my hunter killing her 52 times and DK taking 28 times.

I power levelled a Rogue to 90 purely to get 4 shots a day at the Headless Horseman this year. Last year was horrible, I had to move house in the last week of the holiday and missed a good 4 days due to moving and no internet. The ordeal in general was bad as well, my fiance's dad was a total lazy A-hole who expected everything to be done without lifting a finger himself.

So did RNG be kind to me this time?

No, no mount this year either. *sigh*

I do not have as much time to play as I used to have so when a certain drake mount that I would normally grind for (and have been for ages anyway) came up on the BMAH I decided to put a little bid on for fun.

To my surprise and for less than 30k...



I was actually really surprised I won it! That's all the stone drakes obtained now and one less grind to take my ever valuable time up! Made me feel better after no Horseman's mount as well!

I also finally got a very easy to obtain mount that I've never gotten before because of the guilds I am in. So I moved my Rogue to my friend's guild which I knew had the Dark Phoenix and did quests in Pandaria to Exalted!



Totally cool! I was really, happily surprised at the Lil' Tarcgosa pet too! I forgot they had it!



Fast forward to the 12th of November. I am STILL on the Timeless Isle farming Huolon. I have been there since the second week of the patch and time after time he does not drop the mount. All the regulars and familiar faces have departed with their mounts but I still remain... For just a few more minutes because on my first kill of that particular day it finally decided to drop!





SO PRETTY! SO MINES!

Is there a way to check how many kills I did? It must be a really high amount! I couldn't do massive day long camps or anything because of work but I managed between 1 and 8 kills per log on, very rarely I got more done. Some days I couldn't log on. It doesn't matter so much now because I don't have to worry about it any more!!


Because it took me so long for that mount I was killing Yaungol on the Blazing Way in between it spawning and was over HALFWAY through REVERED by the time I got it! I did this all on my own, no groups at all (aside from one short period when I was teamed with a hunter who caused more harm than good -.-). So I decided, as much I was loathe to spend one more iota of time on that blasted part of the Isle I kept going and a couple days ago I got one of my proudest achievements.





I am proud because still not many people on my server have one of these. It may not be a raid mount, rare drop or server first or anything like that but it was a long grind, it's glowy and it's mine!

I also liked both pics enough to post two even though I didn't need to. Couldn't choose between them!

Awesome additions Jezzebel! I kept track of my Huolon kills with Silver Dragon. It counts each time you see a rare. So I just had to keep track of the times I missed a kill and found her dead. When I finally got her I was over 200 kills on two toons. And like you I had done the rep mobs there until I was already revered. If you are already camping and just kill those mobs that are alive it saves you a lot of time with the farm. I don't know many people on my server with the mount. I think most people just don't want to do this huge rep grind

Ahh I didn't have Silver Dragon, in fact half the time NPCscan didn't work. :/ I guess it'll remain a mystery!

Yeah I realised pretty quick that I would save myself a lot of grief if I started to kill the mobs while I waited, I wasn't doing anything else nor was I logging to a different toon so why not.

I finally got my Armored Razzashi Raptor on Monday



I had never seen it drop at all during Cata, and Wain and I had been farming for quite some time earlier in this expansion, but neither of us saw it or the cat mount. With the rise in Items LVLs and the change to boss mechanics, it was becoming much easier to solo. So With 3 toons every day I had been trying. With a combined total of Cata, 2 manning, and the 3 solo's I was in the mid 200 kills and he finally rolled over and gave me a mount.

So long ZG, I loved you so much, before the cataclysm and even after. You still hold a special place in my heart, with your vivid green and lush foliage, your unique troll weapons and armour, and even your crazy poisons and mojo. Until the next revamp, a fond farewell for you and you denizens.

Now onto the next mount of pain...

Congrats, SB! How many casts are you at for the Sea Turtle? I was lucky and got mine in under a thousand casts.

I got a fiery warhorse today, I feel so bad cuz I got it on my second run in kara ever :c lucky tho

Yesterday I got the Argent Hippogryph, which was the last Argent Tournament mount I lacked Never doing that again!
