Don't forget to pick up your event starters! They all have special abilities. Check out the link to see the codes and what they have as abilities.
I'm currently soft resetting my Event Serperior for a Timid Nature. Might end up selling it since I normally don't use this pokemon. But eh. I dunno. I might keep it if I can manage to get timid.

Huh, cool. Do these Pokemon normally have hidden abilities outside this event?

I don't think so but I'm not sure. I'm a bit behind on Pokemon (and all my other games) thanks to school
Thank Bowno

I knew this event would be here eventually, but I haven't been checking Serbia as of late and I didn't know it was starting now ^^

I think using the safari zones you could catch a stage 1 starter with the hidden ability, but that was about it for getting starters with those. I think this is the first event to release starters with their hidden abilities.

Found an awesome Mirage island today. First pokemon discovered was purugly...ekk, but what I found next had me staring at the screen. I cannot remember the last time I encountered a porygon in any of the games, it's been WAY to long!!!! So to find them wild?!?!?! Well, I am currently having a blast trying to catch as many as I can right now, lol. Even though it's not the most exciting or useful pokemon, it's one that I'd almost all but forgotten existed.

As a reward to current Pokémon Bank users, a special distribution event is on the way! Meganium, Typhlosion, and Feraligatr are all being distributed. All three Pokémon come with Hidden Abilities. Meganium, Typhlosion, and Feraligatr will be given to those who access their Pokémon Bank account between February 27 and November 30, 2015. To receive these three Pokémon, players need to use Pokémon Link in their copy of Pokémon X, Pokémon Y, Pokémon Omega Ruby, or Pokémon Alpha Sapphire after they have accessed Pokémon Bank using one of these games. Note that each Pokémon Bank account will be able to receive these three Pokémon only once.
Pokémon Bank users, look forward to getting Meganium, Typhlosion, and Feraligatr starting February 27, 2015!

Yay for Johto starters!

Probably my favorites

and Samurott should be available today! MY BABY! <3
So, this thread has been dead and I'm curious...did you guys like ORAS? I honestly liked OR more than Y. I LOVED some of the new Pokemon in Y and Mega Evolution but I guess I got so hyped that the lackluster story killed it for me. If it weren't for Pokemon like Fletchling, Tyrant, and Pyroar, I'd probably dislike gen 6 as much as gen 4. They both have Pokemon I love, but the story and the antagonists and just...everything did not sit well with me I guess. I was just as hyped for OR since gen 3 is one of my absolute favorites and even though it was a remake, they added some things and I really liked that on top of the nostalgia. My only real complaint is I couldn't get the mega stone for my Gallade until after the main story -_- it even had a story after the main story! Not just things to do, a whole other story! I loved that!
Also, as a kid I preferred Grovyle over Sceptile but after OR I now greatly appreciate my Sceptile

I actually don't like Mega Sceptile though, which shocked even me. Scuellus says hi!

I've barely touched OR.

Mainly because after I got a shiny starter, I wanted a full shiny team, and I'm still very on-and-off hunting for my shiny Skitty. I probably would've finished the story by now but this Skitty is taking forever to show, that and I've been distracted by... other games. *cough* Inquisition *cough*
I recently grabbed the Petit plushies of Sylveon, Skitty, Lucario and Fennekin, they're are the absolute cutest. ^^

Well, I finally found my shiny Skitty... but I can't help but be really disappointed. It's a male. :/ It's got a much higher chance of being female so I thought I'd be fine... nope. And this is one of the few that really matters to me as well, since it was to be named after my old female cat, Poppy. I named it Pippin since that's a nickname I used to use for Poppy, but I'm still just so disappointed.

I know that feeling. I've been trying for a female shiny Onix for my OR team, and I finally hatched one a short while ago. But guess what? Male. >_< I was so pissed off that I cursed and nearly threw my 3DS against the wall. I've never been so angry about getting the wrong gender on a shiny before. :/ So, I'm still trying for a shiny female one and because of this, haven't even really started OR yet.

I'm barely anywhere in the story in OR. I've done... the first gym. That's it. And then I was hunting in the same patch of grass for a Skitty for ages. I'm hopeful that I'll warm up to poor Pippin soon though, he did nothing wrong, and heck, I'm just glad that it was one of the higher level ones that appeared that was shiny cause now I don't need to spend ages leveling him up or anything.

First world shiny problems am I right? I haven't gotten a shiny since White 2

I hatched so many eggs but I just can't seem to get one. I really want a shiny Froakie because I've decided if my bf were a Pokemon he's be a shiny Greninja but I don't think I'm even going to attempt to get one...I want to SR for a shiny Latias in OR but last time I SR'd for a shiny Latias...I wasted a lot of time for nothing *sigh*

I've barely touched ORAS. I think it might be because I just haven't run into many Pokemon I care for or want to be on my teams. I did a trade to get a Noibat so I could atleast have my Noivern... but other than that it just doesn't feel right. I guess a new team isn't that bad, but I atleast want it to be Pokemon I like.

I have set 'teams' for each generation now that I always pass through to the remakes, thanks to that time we all went nuts with the Pokecharms trainer cards, but this is the only time I've ever wanted my whole team to be shiny. I wouldn't have done it had my starter not just... been shiny without me even trying for it. But the shiny hunting is holding me back from playing the story... it's like a side quest that never ends. That and ORAS just isn't as compelling as XY was for some reason. :/

There is something about ORAS that I found extremely disappointing, and it's taken me a bit to realise what it was. Rayquaza and sky pillar are missing from the main story line

That was one of the main things I loved about the original games. Rayquaza is my favorite legendary and I was looking forward to being able to see the cut scene with rayquaza quelling the fight between kyogre and groudon...and that whole section of the games was changed...

Well technically only Emerald had Rayquaza+Sky Pillar during the main story. :D The original Ruby and Sapphire only had the Groudon or Kyogre thing going in the main story, and Rayquaza was just.. THERE once you completed that. No story significance until Emerald.
Though admittedly, I would have LOVED to see the scene with Rayquaza, Groudon and Kyogre in Sootopolis in GLORIOUS 3D.. I understand why we didn't get that. Since ORAS follows Ruby and Sapphire specifically, not Emerald. (It's also noticeable with the Champions, since Wallace was the Champion in Emerald instead of Steven.)
But Rayquaza does get more or less a plot to itself thanks to the Delta Episode after the main story, so there's that? It's not what it did in Emerald, that's for sure, but it's not like Rayquaza doesn't have any plot significance overall in the games or anything! and to be honest, I'm really fond of the Delta Episode. It was pretty darn awesome, in my opinion~

I completely agree, Senna

I absolutely love the delta episode!
and Senna's right about the Sky Pillar. In the original Ruby and Sapphire, Rayquaza is akin to Mewtwo. He was an OP Legendary that you had to find at the end of a maze, he had nothing to do with the story until Emerald. Either way, the delta episode makes up for it! I like how they tie in X and Y with ORAS during the delta episode, and even kind of explain the timeline of the Pokemon universe. It was all so cool. I hadn't had that much fun with the post main game part of Pokemon since the gen 2 games. Maybe it's because Sapphire was the first Pokemon game I beat (I played gen 1 and 2 games, but I was rather young when they first came out and found them to be difficult haha! after Sapphire, I went back and beat them

) but I found OR to be fantastic! The changes they made made the game even better too! I might be the only one here that thinks this but that's alright ^^;
Now...to hatch Froakies for a shiny or to not hatch Froakies...that is the question.
