It looks as though my goldfish is getting better! He isn't going to die afterall ... yeah!

A few weeks ago, I got myself a cream and pink colored mystery snail as a tank mate for my sole-surviving comet goldfish, Squish (I used to have 3 but 2 of them died early on). Things seemed fine at first; my snail was active and took to exploring his/her new home with great gusto, and my goldfish, although skeptical of his/her new companion, pretty much kept with his/her normal activities and behaviors.

One morning I woke up to discover what looked like white blisters by Squish's gills! I wasn't sure what was wrong so I quaranteed my fish and gave him/her some Melafix while I took to researching what his/her ailment might be - with no successful diagnosis. I've had Squish for almost 3 years now so I immediately assumed he contracted some wierd disease from the snail or his ailment was the result of stress from introducing a new companion into the tank. My new snail seemed happy and well when I observed him/her in the tank so I returned Squish and made sure to pay close attention over the next few days just in case. It now seems whatever it was, it is gone or at least in remission which makes me happy!

I know it is just a fish and most people wouldn't be too upset to lose one but I am very sensitive to the idea that my pets are dependant on me for their well-being and survival. It'd eat away at my conscious to think I did anything to jeopardize the health and happiness of my pets.

On a side note, I am having trouble comming up with a cute and witty androgynous name for my mystery snail. If any of you have some good ideas please PM me.

I finally got my tier token for my shoulders!

The person who won it ended up passing since it wasn't his main and I was the 2nd highest roller. Thus, it only made sense to go to me. Guildlies started talking about maybe giving it to one of them and I stated, "Well. Considering it's been rolls the whole time that'd be reportable...The winner should decide what he wants done with it for fairness." and the Master Looter FREAKED at me and accused me of threatening them and told me to grab a tissue because it wouldn't be mine.

Needless to say we nagged him to give it to the actual winner and the winner gave it to me.

I was smiling so hard the entire time since only the Master Looter was being a douche and the others pretty much told him to shut up.

I'm a nit-pick with loot. I've been ninja'd far too many times and when people go "boo hoo not our problem" I won't stand for it.
Enjoy not having your Top DPS around again for any other goes.

/actually happy. Maybe goes in rant thread? I unno. I owned him good.

The Digimon fan in me has never been happier. (.. With.. The exception of wearing a red bandanna on my arm while wearing a purple/black shirt with black angel wings on the back XD)

My first Majordomo kill and my guild's third. The staff dropped for the first time.
There's one more happy cat on SWC! With me moving temporarily to the States, and not being able to raid with my community anymore, I thought I'd never be able to get it. But I found a great late night guild, and we cleared normal firelands.
What can I say... I'm so happy about this staff I have no words for it. It might be just pixes but.... I love being a feral druid!

Here's me saying hi to Madexx.

We finally got the first real day of autumn here - I love the feeling of cool, crisp air like that. Something about it just makes me feel so much more alive. Definitely my favorite season. :)

Azu, violating the thread rules now. That was needlessly aggressive and clearly aimed towards someone on this forum - in this thread. I don't want another thread lock.

You are very lucky your fishy survived. Those white spots are ick. If they get into the gills it makes the fish unable to breathe and they die quickly afterwards. I've had ick a few times in my aquariums (once after I introduced a snail as well) and I've never had luck with my fish once they got ick. =(

But going to a shelter even for a few hours makes me sad, its so noisy :(
