The blessing saw the huge blast of fire "Probably the mutants trying to burn down another town" Zaero shook his head in displeasure, think of all the poor helpless lives being lost because if them, he couldn't wait till the blessing rid this world of its deceases

Phantom let out a low growl, then stood up and charged at the living fireball that was Buzzard.
Phantom used Wild Charge!
Rust squeaked as he watched the flames scorch Venin. Letting out a quiet whimper, he attempted to summon faint moonlight to try and heal the Vaporeon.
Rust used Moonlight!

The spirit knew this much: They were hurting him! It gave a sad cry, unable to do anything. Her brother. Her...brother. She shuddered, flickering, when she found she could no longer remember the names of his opponents. It was all fading. Fading. Fading. She wished she could help, the spirit flickering. But for now, death still held her, she couldn't quite free herself yet.
---
Ivika gently tugged her ear free, turning back to the others, using the sun's energy to try and heal Venin and Phantom.
Ivika used Synthesis!

Buzzard stepped back as Phantom charged into him, but roared again, heaving his flaming body forward. His scales were beginning to glow with heat, some of them falling from his body. The flames continued to pulse outwards as he charged mindlessly forward again.
Buzzard uses Purgatory!
((I can think again! Gods I needed that nap. >.< No more getting four hours of sleep for me...))

Phantom smirked, completely unhindered by the scorching flames, then again launched himself at Buzzard.
Phantom used Wild Charge!

Buzzard glanced at the Smoldereon, as if suddenly noticing his presence. The jolt of the impact had knocked off more scales, revealing skin that was scorched black. Irritated, he swung his head at Phantom, trying to knock the Pokemon away. Fire was still pulsing outwards.
Buzzard uses Purgatory!

Phantom grinned, but his feeling of triumph was short-lived as he was knocked aside by Buzzard. He was sent sprawling but quickly came to an abrupt halt as he crashed into a large rock.
((Poor poor Phantom.. XD))

Venin rose to her feet shakily, nodding her thansk to Ivyka and Rust, ebfore turnign to Buzzard. The damn fool dragon had gone mad! She summoned a blast of water, blasting it toward Buzzard.
Venin used Surf!

Ivika watched Phantom worriedly, moving back a few paces. Those flames made her nervous. Nonetheless, she focused on using the sun to heal Venin.
---
At this point, the psyceon's body was nearing ashes, burned by the flames.
---
The spirit gave a crooning cry, feeling its hold on the last remnants of life fading. Soon it'd be dark. So dark. No more sun or warmth forever and ever...It watched Buzzard fight the other pokemon, crying out softly. No, no, no, no! They had to stop! Had to stop! He was family, more than -they- were. They had hurt her...
The spirit was tugged at by the wind, trying to bring her to the Other Realm. The end. But she hung on, determined. Her family. She had to mend things. If only she weren't so tired...

Buzzard roared at Venin, the flames pulsing out further to match the oncoming water, attempting to evaporate it. What water hit him still dampened the flames, but it was like trying to put a leash on a tsunami. He was slowing down in his approach, though he still lumbered, crackling and crumbling, towards the Pokemon before him.
His wing membrane was gone, and his wings were beginning to burn to the bone. His feet were malformed by the fire and he appeared to be losing muscle, his usual charge turned into an uneven, though determined, stagger.
Buzzard uses Purgatory!

Ivika drooped a bit, "I don't know, but...It has to do something with the body. What happened?" She said, dropping the last part into a fearful whisper. What could make a pokemon so hate-filled? So furious he'd destroy himself?

Dextra felt as the mirror became active, the tenuous hold it had over him was now gone. He looked down at Baaz.
<I want to thank you for finding these trinkets Baaz and more importantly for finding My sword.> He said, no longer concerned with who could hear him. <And now I need only one more service from you!>
Dextra reached out to the arcanine and flooded him with the essence of the Right Hand of the God-King. He could feel Baaz's pain as he wrenched control of the arcanine's body. He sealed Baaz's soul deep inside where he could hear it curse and scream until it was no more than a whisper and then silence. <You're mine now!>
Yet there was still more to do. In it's current shape this body would be less than adequate for his more immediate needs. It would be costly but he could see no other way.
---
Draxis watched as Baaz suddenly fell to the ground and then began convulsing. Before he or anyone else could help Baaz stopped and stood back up and then stood up more. Draxis had seen others evolving before and this looked nothing like it. Baaz's body grew and stretched, becoming more humaniod. Every part of Draxis's being felt that this was wrong, this evolution was unnatural. When he was finally finished, Baaz walked over to the far side of the room and picked up a large black sword. Although the sword was meant to be wielded by two hands, this new incarnation of Baaz seemed to be able to hold it with only one.
"I think we may be in trouble." He said.
---
It was done. Dextra wasn't sure how long he could hold this form but now that he had his sword again nothing was impossible.
<Sinistra! Kerym! Vethor! And anyone else that has escaped our millenia old prison. Come to me and regain your foci!> He cried out to the other Soultakers. He then turned to see what kind of treat the others of the Dawn would pose.

"What gives you that idea?" Venin snarled to the Golett behind her, her vision focused only on the smoldering dragon before her. Feeling rejuvinated, she darted between Phantom and Buzzard, firing a powerful pulse of water at the Charosaur to try and knock it back.
Venin used Hydro Pump!
((Sat, to quote and expand upon myself from the Sign in page:
Foci are used to enhance or stabilise the power of soul magic. They can take many forms, although the most common are jewels and pattern.
A jewel is a specially treated item used to store and focus soul energy. They are remarkably hard to produce, but allow a Soultaker to use their magics much more freely. They are generally shaped to resemble their namesake, although it's not unheard of for a Soultaker to use a more unconventional item, such as a weapon.
Patterns are drawn sigils and runes, generally arranged in some sort of circle. Like jewels, they can be used to focus magic into a much more stable form. However, they take time to draw and can only be used once. After the spell has been cast, the Pattern vanishes in a burst of blue fire.

((Ah! Gotcha!))
"Got my necklace there?", Ley asked Dextra. "Gold chain with a ruby."

Buzzard roared again, though his roar sounded more like the lighting of a powerful fire. The water pushed him back and he tried to lunge forward, only to find that his legs had too little muscle to move. He collapsed forward, using the last of his strength to grab at the skull of his sister, pulling it close. The sane part of him, whatever was left of it, recognized that he was going to die here. At least he would die at his sister's side.
The fire pulsed out again, burning a furious blue before fading away completely, leaving only the crumbling remains of the Charrosaurus' and the Psyceon's bones.
The Sinistra had found her target. It was a lone Luxray, shivering in fear. It backed away as her writhing black form approached, but it couldn't fight back as she dragged herself into his mind, taking over. Charlemagne? What an interesting name. No more. Simply slave now. Then she turned her attention to Dextra. My serpent bracelet!
