And its....CONFIRMED!!!!!! Pokemon Sun and Moon!!!! (or S&M...eep)

I've been attempting to play a randomized nuzlocke of HeartGold, but am failing miserably at it. My team has developed such personality that every time one of them faints instead of just letting them die I kind of... reload.

My Pokemon will never die.





I have a Rattata named Grapes on it. She knows PayDay. Grapes is the best Pokemon ever.

Celebi wifi event is now on. Don't forget to nab it.

Hehe I know the feeling...I had to stop my nuzlock because my starter was killed by a wobbafett right by the cave exit. I cried and haven't been able to play it since.
Another Nuzlock I had that I still need to complete. I found a shiny gastly and named her Shake. She became my favorite...and she fell to a gym leader. I haven't been able to play since.
It's kinda funny how attached we get to pixels.

Soo...Red/Blue/Yellow have Kept their in-game "glitch" quirks. So it's possible to get Mew, in-game really early (pre-2nd badge)...as well as a number of other pokemon using the same technique.

Heck, I used this on trainers all the way past the next town and it's fun seeing what pokemon appears on the bridge! It's actually pretty fun having a mew, Gengar, scyther, chancy, etc while only at 2 badges.
So, I am having fun with these old games right now XD

Picked up yellow. Instantly feel old. I still have my old copy of yellow from when it was originally released. I forgot how limited this game was. The newer gens have SPOILED me.

For those with Poke Bank, hidden ability Golem Trio were released through it. Worth picking up if you don't have them already.

Sun and Moon starters and box legendaries were released today! I'm digging the starters, but I have mixed feelings on the box legendaries. What are your thoughts?

The moon legendary is literally my favourite thing in ages, it's perfect. *u* (and the grass starter is adorable)

Bats are my favorite animal, so I flipped when I saw the Moon Legendary, but the Sun Legendary is pretty awesome, too. I like all three starters, but the little grass owl is so friggin' cute, oh my god. I'm going to save choosing for when the final evolutions are revealed. And hopefully Litten won't get a two-legged final evolution like every other Fire starter has.

Looks great overall! Love the lil owl and kitten! Interesting that the owl starts out dual type, wasn't expecting that. Both legendaries look awesome, but that bat is rad! He's got the stars in his wings! Looks like I'll be getting moon!

Oh man, these new games are looking AMAZING, the new region is very pretty from what we see so far. I hope it's not too small, but since the region appears to be based on Hawaii and similar islands there might be a number of main islands to travel between.

I knew the Sun legendary was going to be some sort of lion creature from the beginning, and had been planning on choosing it from the start, but... Moon's legendary really surprised me. Looks to be some sort of bat, and I really love bats, so now I might leave my decision up to what version exclusives there are/ what version my friend gets.

Aaaand, Team Rowlet unite! Cutest grass starter ever. The fire one is also cute but the eyes weird me out a little bit. The water one.... Well, I didn't like Oshawott to start with, either, but I love Samurott soooo. I guess we'll see what he evolves into. I DO think Popplio is going to end up being the most OP starter of the three, just because once he learns an ice type move he can overpower Rowlet just as easily as he can Litten. 4x Ice weakness, booo.

Totally speculation, since we have absolutely NO idea where the starter's evos are going, but I mentioned to my friend that I thought it would be cool if Rowlet eventually became some Gryphon-like creature, and then later saw someone pointing out how Litten had a scorpion-like barb on his tail, and maaaaaybe he becomes a Chimera-like pokemon. Mythical beasts would be cool final evos for these guys. Maybe Popplio could become something like a Hippocampus?

Also, since Rowlet is a grass/flying, maybe they'll continue doing what they did in X and Y and add another type-circle to the starters. Delphox, Greninja, and Chesnaught had it with Psychic, Dark, and Fighting types. So maybe Litten will gain Rock type in his final evo, and Popplio gain Fighting? (Because if they make another Fire/Fighting starter, I'm gonna scream)

So we have our starters! Is Rowlet our first dual type starter?? Litten looks like it will become a dark/fire type, interesting design, kinda disappointed by Popplio, it looks like it should be in a circus...

Legendaries, Well...WOW!!!! I am mean, WOW!!! A Steller Sun lion, and a Crescent star Bat!!!
I didn't find the box art of the bat to flattering but ingame it looks amazing!!!
Region wise, did anyone else notice that the region looks like a Zygard cell, shape wise?? I am going to guess that this is where we will see the Zygard story unfold, most probably with whatever this regions "Team ___" will be.

Wonderfully updated character models and world designs, loving the bright tropical look of the place...Maybe we will find many wild Chatot here!

It will be released on November 18th 2016 in the US, Australia and Japan and November 23rd in Europe.

It also shows a tad more of the customization of the player. Kinda hoping they'll have different builds, but I doubt it.



Also this chart is nice for the whole triangle thing...sadly flying is only in 3 of them. And I really don't see the kitten being a rock type, or fighting...but I also thought that about Tepig too.

Kukui,the guy at the beginning...named after a tree, looks like our region professor? A tree from Hawaii, in a region called Alola (Aloha is Hawaiian) hehe!

I was thinking Bulbasaur was dual, but couldn't remember for sure. But it's just those two that have dual typing in the first evolution, right?

Pokémon brings the world together!

I personally love all 3 starters! I'm personally leaning towards the sea lion, but I never pick one until I see the final forms.

As for the legendaries, I love and dislike them both. I love lions, but it honestly looks like Pyroar 2.0 and reminds me too much of Digimon World Dawn where the Digimon you start with digivolves into a fire lion and his last form is Apollomon, literally a sun lion. I also love bats, probably moreso than lions, but I'm just not too fond of this one's design. I much preferred the Noibat design approach to bats. So I have yet to decide which I will pick, but I am slightly leaning towards Sun at the moment.

I also dig the woodpecker Pokemon that we got a glimpse of in the first trailer (some argued that it was a Fletchling but it had a single red stipe on the top of its head, which makes it a woodpecker) so I'm all sorts of excited for this game And, as always, it will be released right before my birthday <3 I love playing Pokemon on my birthday!
