I'm really sick of seeing the red magehunter skins...it's actually the Vargul Blighthound that everyone's so fond of. I even have one myself, but it makes me vaguely angry that everyone uses him. /sigh So, if you guys could have any of the three colors, which would you want?

I like blue.

I adored the blue ones when I first saw them and was very disappointed when only the red were made tameable.

But aren't there actually a red Darkhounds in some instance? Not the Blighthound, but actual red ones.

I actually like the "grey" kind best - the Darkhounds found in Tristfall Glades.
But, as that's not an option, I selected "blue", 'cause they're cool. :3

I actually like the red one the best, but I do think the blue skin should be available.

I love the blue one though... probably a good thing you can't tame it, as it seems everyone would go for that anyway!

I love the blue one. I've used a red for months, but every time I turn around since wolves became top dog, I see one, so I've semi-retired her till the fad passes.

Blue is my favorite color.

Also, take note of http://www.wowhead.com/?npc=28903 which is an interesting case.

Note that it is a Hyena, not a Wolf. Undead, so it can't be tamed. And in the DK phased starting zone, so hunters can't even get to it!

I believe it's in Undercity when being re-taken by the Alliance/Horde Wrathgate quest chain...
I don't remember seeing them (and I play Alliance) so I guess they are only there when the Horde are doing it ?

They're there for both factions but it's hard to see them in that mass of undead/demons/abominations.

They're in the waves inside the Undercity proper. Plagued Felbeasts. They're very cute!

I didn't see any in the image files.

There are a type of demon hound that looks similar.
