So what's for dinner?

So what's everybody having for dinner? I'm actually attempting to cook [pretty shocking, imo] and I've got a corned beef brisket in the oven and I will be frying up some potatoes to go along with it. This will be the first real "dinner" my boyfriend and I have had in a while. It usually consists of some sort of frozen food or a sandwich so this will be a nice change of pace!

So what are you guys having?? :)

I'm testing a new recipe I found for lasagna. Contains vodka. Should prove interesting.

I never know until....7 :30ish my time, usually. Unless it's a Friday. Then it's always pizza.

Kinda' like this: http://recipes.sparkpeople.com/recipe-d ... ipe=327942
I'm making the vodka sauce myself though, as that stuff isn't legal for grocery stores to sell here, and the liquor stores don't have it.

...I WAS going to have leftover (homemade) fettuccine alfredo with chicken, but it seems someone's eaten it already. So, since there's little else in the house right now, microwaved corndogs, I guess. (And I really wanted the alfredo... ;_; )

The Chef is doing roast beef with roast potatos and don't know what else. He always comes up with different ideas for making the veggies more exciting. Gosh it's good living with a chef :D

Apparently he is doing sweet and sour chicken and rice tomorrow night. I have a staff meeting after work so I won't be home until gone 8pm at least.

We had nachos, pizza and ice cream while watching horribly cheesy cartoons from our childhood.

GIRLS' NIGHT, YEAH

I was thinking of making chicken and white wine risotto, but I'm far too tired to make the effort, unless I manage a nap some time during the day. So, I suppose I'll go for the easy way out and make orange chicken stir-fry with Basmati rice.

I ened up having microwave chicken and rice burritos. Now the fun begins all over with "What's for breakfast?"

I had... I didn't really have dinner. But I did have chicken rice and egg at around dinner time.

If you're curious, I had burritos and tea for breakfast. That's me. I love dinner foods for breakfast, but I HATE breakfast foods for dinner.

Husband will be happy, son will be less so, I will be most unhappy of all. But, must keep the menfolk happy and healthy. :D
