Hope this is allowed- really struggling to decide between these pets!

I'm being horribly, horribly pressurised for stable room due to the recent pet announcements and... Erk. Have far too many birds! Millions! While I like them all... Think I desperately need to cut down. Three two-headed vultures is a bit too much. However... I can't pick which one to keep! Halp!

Took screenshots with Vasken's PvP gear, but his RP gear is primarily blue:

White: Love the bird's colouration! He matches my character's hair! Though unsure about keeping him due to the fact that I've tamed Zaricotl. Two white birds! But... He's so pretty! The eyes, the eyes! <3



Ghostly Blue: Glitch tame, shhh. Love the fact that the glowiness trails behind the bird! He looks stunning. Haven't used him too much, but tend to oogle him whever he's flipped out during TB dailes. Adore his looks! My main issue with this creature is that I've no idea how to validate a see-through, ghostly carrion bird in an RP sense. Tend to keep transparent pets (spirit beasts included) strictly OOC... Which is why I likely find it hard to bond with them.



Blue: Picked him for the reason above. It's difficult to find an excuse to use ghostly pets. With all the spirit beasts and silly critters lurking around my stables, tend to just stick to the same few in-character pets. Would love to have more variation in RP, and the colours on the solid model are stunning! And fhfhfhagh.



Any help would be appreciated, gah! Will likely pick up some of these on other characters though. Really do love their colours!

Well, I really like the way the white one looks next to your hunter, but I also like the way the solid blue one stands out next to you. Since you said most of your RP gear is blue, I think I'll vote the blue one, even though I like the white too.

Speaking of the blue, is there any way to tame Torgos if you have already done the quest?

Mmm, I say white. His muted whites look great next to the pale, purplish blues and whites of your troll. Torgos, in the meanwhile, is a greenish blue, which clashes badly with the purple-blue of your troll.

I would also say white, not only because I love black/white IRL, but also that s/he fits your hunter nicely, as someone else said, your hunter has toned down colours, and so does the white birdie.

Too bad that you can't really see yourself using the ghostly though, because that is a nice bird! But on the other hand: what's the use of having pets you never take out, right?

White!!! I have both Trachela and Torgos and a Bonepicker Felfeeder (green) and I think Zebrina (Trachelea) is 10,000x better looking then any of the other two-headed vultures in the game!

Your skin and hair are great with her and because shes white, most armors with the exception of maybe hot colors (red, yellow, orange, etc.) and earthy colors (browns and all the hundreds of different brown mixes) would clash but cool colors (blue, green, purple, etc.) and shades (black, grey, white) match her nicely

Try also to check out the green two-headed vultures in blasted lands (they fly around high above the ground so try landing on mountainsides to get them down) and well, just to check it out, spiteflayer if your into yellow xD Red ones carry a very royal 16th century look with them and their white ruffles and I named one Kenneth which means 'born of fire' cause i tamed Emberwing

Not sure how big you are on bald one headed vultures but this guy wouly look awesome against your RP armor seeing as its blue, the white im throwing in just cause, seeing as you said you have Zariotl

Leaning towards the white-- hair-matching is persuasive-- but the blue one's good too. The ghostly one though... nope. Nope nope nope. Something about the combination of "corporeal carrion bird" and "smoky glowing carrion bird" just doesn't do it for my sense of taste. And a troll! Trolls aren't silly enough to be running around with sparklebirds. That's for the elves.

WHITE! Hands down, that bird looks best with your toon!

Going along with this, I actually don't think trolls like birds at all (hence troll druid having a bat flight form) so I'm not sure a troll RPing with true, trollish pets would even have birds as pets. Someone feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.
And if you're not trying to RP with trollish pets, it doesn't even matter.

This is true if you are RPing a Darkspear troll or any other jungle troll tribe I would guess, based on this quest text.

Hmm... They seem to be divided between images of a serpent spirit and a bird spirit. No self-respecting Darkspear troll engages in bird worship. Their spirits are weak, capricious, and best left to the Amani.

But the serpent, <name>, the serpent wields considerable power and this is the spirit I shall study.

I don't care though my troll loves her birds. <3

I couldn't remember which trolls disliked birds and which liked them.

To be fair, nothing says you couldn't be the odd Darkspear out who found a reason to appreciate bird companions-- especially since it's an animal, not just a spirit you're dealing with. Good catch, though! All I remembered was the Amani liked birds, so why wouldn't everyone!

Perhaps a Darkspear raised among the Amani or later learning from the Amani?

Or was saved Lassie-style by a bird, or befriended one during their rebellious teen phase, or had an unusual dream they interpreted as a command to to tame one, or...!

Sky's the limit, really, when it comes to finding RP excuses for something as relatively cosmetic as that.
