So before I transferred my troll hunter, Venjin, over to Nesingwary, I made a little undead hunter named Yzma that I planned to have a theme for. I played her to about level 14 before deciding that it kinda sucked playing without my BoAs and everything. And then she got abandoned further when Venjin got brought over (BoAs included) and I played more and more on my main server, and then WRA. And then I made a goblin hunter on Nesingwary and started playing her.

Well, the other day, I felt pretty bad for little Yzma as I love her name so I decided to play around with her a bit and submit her for the pet challenge threads. Turns out that was all I needed to get right back in the groove with her and she has now surpassed my goblin hunter.

I am still planning on a themed stable for her. Going with the typical undead theme of rotting/dead and gothic looking pets. And because, well, we're the place of hunters and hunter pets, I figured I would share her stable collection here as she levels.

First is Kuzco, one of the first pets I ran out and tamed once I got back into playing Yzma.


Next is Pacha, who originally was a brown diseased bear that I tamed at level 10, but I decided that I didn't really like the reddish brown color and he molted into a black bear.


I knew a bat would be befitting of Yzma's theme and I saw Ressan the Needler in her level range. I'd never seen him in the wild before so it was fun finding him and taming him.


Next is Crush the turtle. I fully meant to name him Kronk as suggested way long ago by fellow Petopians, and totally forgot until after I named him Crush. >_< He'll be getting a name change as soon as I manage to get my hands on a Certificate of Ownership.


I had a pretty good night of rares tonight. Went looking for Ressan, Takk, and Humar. Ressan you've seen, and as I had my map open looking for Takk, he ended up jumping right on top of me!


And as you can guess, Scar, my Humar, is next. ^_^ I was debating between the ghost saber or green cat, but I really like the gothic feel of Humar more once my boyfriend suggested him to me (and I really dislike the old world cat models).

I LOVE Emperor's New Groove, so full points from me there. I love that you're naming your creepy pets based on a Disney (unless I'm very wrong) theme, it just seems so appropriate.

Three out of the six I have on my "creepy pets" themed Worgen, though I substituted the grey raptor for a green, don't have a turtle but a black beetle instead and got both Duskfang and Shadowclaw (though I'm sending him off to another hunter soon) instead of Humar. I love your choices though!

I had the green kitty as well for some time, but it wasn't clicking. Perhaps if it's ever released as a saber cat model it might work for me!

Yes, Yzma's pets will all be named after Disney characters. I'm a really big Disney movie fan and Yzma's one of my favorite characters. I'm happy she's getting some love now.

I love the way Takk's colors look with Yzma, and even Humar just seems to fit in.
I can't think of the green cat as anything but "the Cringer cat"...and I just really hate how *green* it is (which is why I ended up dumping the bronze crab from my pet challenge).

I need to get her the black fox, and I'm thinking either the purple Cata croc or white old world one. Haven't decided on a carrion bird yet; I'm thinking about the red one.

I agree, Takk looks very elegant next to Yzma, because of her lovely Undead colours. I have the black fox as well, and haven't looked back since. His crazy eyes creep me out every time.

I'd say that the white croc would probably look best in terms of colour, but the purple is definitely more "gothy", and so they'd both fit well. Carrion birds...I tried out the brown, but that one was too showy in some odd way. Black was too dull, red wasn't working (it was so bright), and the blue I had on another hunter already. I settled on Zari's gorgeously insane new look, and am very happy with it, despite him being white. So, I think my carrion bird vote would go to Zari or perhaps even better, Vultros.

Zaricotl scares me, but I may see how he looks next to Yzma. I have a feeling that I'll tame a few different carrion birds and see how they match up next to Yzma. I have the blue and gray one on Roxíe so I'm not sure if I want two hunters with one or not.

I'm debating whether or not could pass off as gothic.

For the love of everything, do it. Use the moth.

I love moths, so cute and pretty. Although I'll have to kill myself to get that one with the level 90 guards at the starting zones now.

I adore this name scheme. ^.^ The Emperor's New Groove was the ONLY movie I'd watch when I was young, and I watched it on repeat. Over, and over, and over. I have it memorized.

I did the same thing with the original Lion King.

Those Pictures are epic especially the ones of Kuzko and Pacha! I love the diseased animals!

You automatically earn a handful of Awesome Points for having named your Takk "Aladar". Dinosaur was my absolute favorite movie as a kid due to my obsession with dinosaurs.

I totally have to find a beast suiting of the name Frollo. I'm thinking maybe:

The black wasp does seem to fit him, doesn't it? Similar colours, plus the legs flare out his sleeves.

Hmm, the only other things I could suggest would be the black windserpent, the blue/black carrion bird, maybe even Nuramoc? Just tossing out ideas. I like the idea of his namesake being winged, for some reason.

He just seems like someone that would be a winged beast. I'm actually thinking Nuramoc might suit him best now that you mention it. :3
For me it'd either be Nuramoc or the black wasp.
