Hi guys! My new eventual-Petopians(i.e. when I can get around to asking for an invite) Nesingwary alt needs some help. :U

Her name is Caboodle, and she is a Tauren.

Caboodle generally means a group, pack or crowd - it's a little obscure, but I felt as if it fit a BM hunter with tame everythingitis. I decided that I'd force more bad puns on myself by naming her 'main' pet Kit. As in "the whole kit and caboodle". I'm so clever I put Ted and Scratchfever to shame!

Only we have a problem.

This is Kit.

When I hit level ten, I ran aaaaaaaalll the way to Elwynn to tame a Blackrock Battle Worg(via STV < Westfall < Elwynn because I zoned out and thought I was going to go farm a defias mask.). He became Kit. We were bros. At first I thought the name didn't fit him, but it's grown on me. His skin isn't my favorite either but I still feel rather attached to him.

I went back to questing in level-and-faction-appropriate zones and inevitably ended up taming Echywhoever. KIMBA the white lion. Yeah.

He matches! I thought "Omg, Kit!" and now I have two Kits. I'm not partial to the stealth because without dash it tends to take him a bit to get in range for a kill command and I did just get him, so I don't like CatKit as much as WolfKit just yet. Once he hits 20 I assume that'll be solved, and I'll have had time to frolic with him some more.

So I figured I would ask you guys which one looks more like a Kit to you. I considered naming everything I tame Kit just to keep the joke going, but that would drive me up the wall and likely confuse everyone. I don't think I'll be getting rid of either of them, because Elwynn is ungodly far away and I already turned in the Echythingamabob quest. More than likely one will stay Kit and the other will get slapped with a naming certificate once I can dig up the cash.

If you think I should tame something else as a potential-Kit because it would look good with me/make me awesome, say so. :D I'm only 17 now but I can grind out a few levels for something else to see how it looks/if I click with it.

JUst name each pet "kit" and give them a number. Like "Kit1".

I think the kitty, but overall, I think a fox would be more fitting for the name considering baby fox's are called kits

I thought about a fox, but I kept putting off looking them up to see what level I'd need to be. I can get very nearly any color if I grind out maybe one more level, turns out.

I'm kind of partial to the black and red ones, but is there a different color you'd suggest? I'll have to get out there and tame/screenshot everything. :P

How about a compromise? The black wolf color on the cat? I vote you go hunt down Humar!

Echeyakee is very naturaly fitting to horde side because of the fact they get all the zones with the LionSkin in them and also because he matches your fur but if you ever change to black or grey fur, the wolf (or in fact, any dark colored wolf if you want a change) would be quite beautiful. Also for the fox thing.. the Blue-ish white foxes can be found just past the Greymane wall and black foxes are in eastern Redridge Mountains and your currently in general, the appropriate lvl to be able to tame them both (white foxes lvl 13-14, black foxes lvl 18-19)

I cant vote specifically cause i like both pets seeing as you have the option to change your skin color lol

for fox's I always preferred the white and brown, though the black would counter your toons white fur rather nicely

I say you name every pet "Kit"

(Oh, and Ashtail would look great with a white Tauren)

Call them all Kit! Then you will always have the whole kit and caboodle no matter which pet you're using at the time

I'm big on pets that match their hunters so methinks CatKit.

I like how the kitty matches, but then I'm also just partial to cats. >.> (and you can turn prowl off, just right-click the icon) A fox might be a good idea to try, though.

Also, my baby tauren on Nesingwary, Shadepaw, is a scribe, but she's not high enough to make the rename scrolls (yet).

I would keep CatKit, I'm so big on the whole matching thing, and I'm not a fan of the Northrend worg model anyhows (except Skoll of course, but he's special =3)

Out of the two, I definitely prefer CatKit, but I'd suggest checking out one of these: http://www.wow-petopia.com/look/mistfoxskinarctic.html They're level 13-14 in Gilneas, so ya gotta zepp to UC and run down through Silverpine. They're right inside the wall (I've gone and gotten one on one of my hunters) so it's easy peasy to get one, and I agree that it might work as Kit.

Once you do the tame, post the pic so we can see if it's better than either of these two!!

Name ones Oodles (Oodles of Caboodles), keep Kit on the one you deside.

I have a hunter named Demonik and all her pets are: Demon, Faithless, Leigen, Hate, Envy, Pain..(you get the point)

With KitKat being the overwhelming victor, I think I know who will be getting renamed. WolfKit will most likely become Rex or something silly along those lines.

I tamed a black fox who is also named Kit, and while he's cute, I can't really get into him. He might be retamed as red someday.

I've decided that with the Kit dilemma out of the way, I'm just going to name my pets whatever the heck they look like to me, and as much as an all-white stable would pwn, I made Caboodle to cover the pets that Veeka couldn't get.

I forget what I ran all the way to Loch Modan for, but I wound up picking up Gorefang(Kilag. Get it? Are my references too obscure?) in Silverpine and a black bear named Tiny who, sadly, was just there to help me make it past the guards. I poked around for Gosh-Haldir, didn't see her, and stumbled upon Shanda the Spinner who absolutely, completely stole my heart and I'm not sure why. So I stole her and the contents of the treasure chest behind her(a green and a shadowgem, booo).

Braxley(who is still a girl!) and I get along quite well: Brax must have texted Gosh somewhere along the line because when I was making my rounds back, I spotted Nix puttering around and then Gosh herself. I only had two stable spaces and I was far, far away from home, so I left Kilag to roam until I can retame him again. I don't think he minds.
