Well, one of my guildies named Kyela(Druid) recently told me she was farming herbs in the twilight highlands. And out of nowhere this hunter flies down and literally tries to tame her... ten secs go by and he realizes she isn't Sambas. haha Gotta love Scarlet Crusade server ROFL... as a hunter it had me kinda rolling... and made my day a little easier :D

hahahaha nothing against the hunter but, how can u mistake a druid with a name other than sambas, or with a blue, yellow, or even pvp sign on?

After so long, everything starts to look like what you're looking for.

I saw Karoma in the corner of my eye every so often. I mistook the white rams in Loch Modan for her, even. :P

I still get the competitive rush to grab Netherwing eggs when I see them...even if I don't need them. Most of the time they're actually rocks or tree stumps. My friend jokes about 'Saronite madness' - the instinctive urge to divebomb that rock because it kinda looks like a Saronite - or Pyrite, now - node.

In a world where you've been camping for hours, days, weeks, any cat can be Sambas. Heck any movement can be Sambas.

It's even worse when phasing kicks in, because you don't know if it was a false alarm or not. :P

I would wondre how she knew the hunter was trying to tame her, myself. Tame Beast doesn't start up on a target that's not tameable, and I don't think you'd even see it in the combat log. Did he get freeze trapped?

A tauren druid, in brown phase, spotted by the opposite side while PVP (so the dot on the map was red), I could easily see being mistaken for Sambas. That part, frankly, isn't a shock to me. :)

lol....had a hunter spt me in game saying they just spent the last 20 mins trying to tame my spirit beast bear (I kept his name) and couldnt figure out why it wouldnt do it...then realized it was a pet allready, the really sad part was I was no where near Grizz Hills, I was in Deephelm...go figure that one : / But anyways I'd have never know if the hunter hadnt pst me cause he was same faction as me.

How did she know he/she was trying to tame her/him? I know opposite faction pets (on pvp servers) use to go after the person because it actually hit them (cause the hunter targeted then it use to attack them cause they couldnt tame it) but Im unsure if it still does that. (It was befor Lich was released it did that)

because he apologized from my understanding. like i said someone told me about it; i dont know if he tried a trap. but he was from the same faction, also sometimes people ui's are set up different, i have mine to where i dont have player named or anything above the avatar until i mouse over or click them.
