So tonight I am packing to move.. and a friend of mine is down in the crapper. She signs off and I say "Well, hell, I am not gonna get anything done anyway..."

So I fly my hunter down to Silithis and park and start folding clothes. While going "Damn, my life fits in a rubbermaid" and I hear "AWOOOOOOOOOOGH". I trip over myself trying to get to the chair. There's a damn Rex Ashil. So I look. She isn't on. Craptastic! So I logged her account with what I think is the pass. BING. She's in Dragonblight. REALLY? Hearth to SW, fly to Booty Bay. Boat? BOAT? BOOOOOOOAT! <hops on>

Then I fly her to Silithis.. TAME. Yay.



Hell. More packing to do.

So I fly on up to TH.. and after grilling Novi (thank you!) for info.. find out where the msot likely place for a Sambas spawn.. and park.

Back to folding clothes.

So I am chilling.. and AWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOGH. Probably just another hunt--WTF SAMBAS?!

LAnd, tag, and Frost Trap.

Log BACK into my friends account... and she doesn't have the Twilight Highlands Portal. Really?!

Check her FPs. Loch Modan?! Poop. Set her to flying.

All the while I am chain trapping Sambas, staring at my map waiting in horror to see a green/red/yellow dot swooping in...

She lands, I hop on her drake and invite.. accept, point and auto fly. I see a green dot!

OH NOEZ--Wait its her. WAIT. So I jump over to my other screen and throw on the breaks. Land, Arcane shot twice, throw down a trap and tame. (BTW, all this is from the spellbook since she has no bound keys on my PC)

What a freakin' ride.

Title says it all! Wow! Grats on those finds and being able to travel the distance. That's incredible!

I knew she was busy, so I shot her a text. I purposely left her in Twilight Highlands so she would go 0_o

She logs on and I tell her to check her pets.

Now, she and I have this thing. I am stupid lucky sometimes. With the exceptions of Karoma, Loque, and Krush, I've basically TRIPPED over every rare I find. I ran head first into Blazewing the other day, for crying outloud.

So she sends me a -_- face and checks. just types "no freakin' way."

So I tell her the whole story. She's both disgusted (been looking since she hit 85) and thrilled. Once she get Sambas named, I'll get some screenies with her and my Eowyn

Just so everyone knows, I gave her a serious talking to for not having the portal -.-;;

I sat there for a good 30 seconds staring, waiting for the portal to resolve.. and it never did.
