Why didn't you run far, far away at the point when her labour pangs began?

If you didn't run, you are just as guilty. XD You can find gross and odd things on Moon Guard. It makes the server interesting.

She was /yelling AUGH AUGH. So my manly paladin was like "DAMSEL IN DISTRESS GOTTA FIND HER!" I run into the eastvale logging camp, turn into a building and there's a lady lying on the bed screaming. I run in and ask whats wrong!?

She screams I'm having a baby!

Here it comes!

In like two seconds, I couldn't holy shield my eyes or anything!

Out pops this gnome. I quickly type:

/e passes out.
/sleep

*soothes Moore gently*

Everything will be ok. The memories will likely haunt you for years to come, but it gets better. It gets better.

Have you seen the size of a gnomes head?

Have you seen the size of a female humans waist?

Like how. I don't think there's a priest alive that could heal that wound :(

Hey, it's one of those threads where we exaggerate how bad Moon Guard is!

I've leveled alts(and one almost-main) through Goldshire and have gotten a total of maybe three whispers ever. Unless you have a flag up begging for contact or are walking around with your level 58 Draenei DK ass hanging out of your freshly-equipped plate bikini, most people ignore you even if you stand around and gawk. A whisper from someone in Goldshire isn't grounds to go 'OMG ERP ERP ERP AAAAH RUN AWAY' - a 'No thank you, I'm not interested' suffices really well, actually. If they persist, repeat what you said and /ignore. Ooh or even /dnd before you run in. Gee whiz that was hard.

And you know what's kinda funny? You can find actual roleplay in Goldshire! As in good roleplay by people who aren't dense enough to think that everyone in Goldshire is a native to Moon Guard. Even scarier, you can find roleplay from people who aren't native Moon Guardians who originally came here to troll.

Goldshire is not the problem, and anyone on Moon Guard should know that. It's not Goldshire and it's not the ERPers. It's the trolls attracted to Goldshire because people make a big deal out of the ERPers - who are actually trolls - in Goldshire. Curiosity killed the cat, and it's currently machinegunning Goldshire's corpse into the ground.

I know this thread had innocent enough beginnings but after being falsely accused of sending someone inappropriate whispers in a PuG because I was from Moon Guard, I have very low tolerance of anything related to how bad Goldshire is.

Anyone who is going to ERP for plot purposes knows better than to pick place where you won't be accosted by randoms named Chuknorish or Chrishansen. Seriously guys. And by guys I don't mean you two, I mean people dense enough to think that Goldshire is the child of Moon Guard's filthy underbelly and not hype and curiosity.

You want questionable roleplay on Moon Guard? Try Mongraa.

Or better yet, try any roleplay in Stormwind at all! Orgrimmar is just as bad, but we have more chestbeating and drinking elixirs of giant growth and our men are green and hairy. Mmm.

In all my years of RP in WoW (started RPing in TBC) I've seen two futa draenei, and EIGHTEEN futa worgen. Yes. -.- That's messed up. It's even worse when you're just trying to have some fun in Ironforge with your guild and the futa ERPer shows up uninvited. Ignore sadly doesn't get rid of their naked character models dancing on the tables. -.-

Moon Guard in all isn't a bad server. If you stay away from Goldshire, it's a great server for finding random RP (although the quality can be lacking at times) and even if you don't RP I hear they have quite a few good raiding guilds.

However, Goldshire is a stain on Moon Guard. Native Moon Guardians you can defend Goldshire and it's "RP" but we all know it's an open, festering, rotting wound on the server that will never heal.

I have alts on Moon Guard and yus I do RP on them, away from Goldshire of course. If I do visit Goldshire it's only to laugh at the terrible flagRSP descriptions there. I have a collection of them but besides the funny/joke descriptions, they aren't appropriate to post on these forums. So, I'll just post this funny one:

Kudos to you Ceiling Gnome. Keep up the good work.

I goldshire I horridness D:, I remeber the days on goldshire with my druid: dragonid. I always there for laughs but everywhere there were
WHY WONT U DUEL MEH NOOB!1!1!!!2! (I did not get a message like that, but silair messages on asking why you weren't accepting the duel), the reasons for me of course are obivous, 1. theres like a 30 level difference and 2. I suck at pvp and don't want to duel you
normally they would but go away but~
theres the occasonal person that goes
/chicken
spamming you with it.
I just sit down and go afk and minimize for awhile then they go away for sure
I should also note that this is not on a rp relm but a normal one called aggramar.

I was on Moon Guard for a little bit. Overall I didn't know what RP was about, but I found it wasn't that bad in SW at all. Lots of random RP.
Now, I only spent a few minutes in Goldshire, and I admit they weren't pleasant. But I haven't seen it long, so I can't really say much. :-P

You can't hide the fact that at least Alliance side Moon Guard is a pretty terrible server, I've seen things ten times worse than what I've posted... The AH is controlled by like one guy even -.-. And the reason you were messaged is because Moon Guard has become a joke, when I first went there all I saw was spam for a "Slave and Masters" guild. Or furry ERP guilds recruiting, I even had friends IN some of those guilds on the server. In fact Moon Guard is the exact same server that some guy was saying he wished I were dead because of my political beliefs. It's a joke I've never seen anyone RP anything original; it's like the people are immune to any sort of originality in their characters. I've seen about 50 "German Accent" guys (thanks Uldum quest chain). Everyone I've met is a super tight ass elitist, if you RP something slightly wrong about 10 people jump on you and correct you. It's quite literally sucked all the fun that I thought I could ever have RPing out of me. Which is why I play on a strictly PVP server now and keep any and all storylines I create for my chars to myself. Then again I'm probably too old to RP anyways. -.-

I find the RP on Wyrmrest Accord to be rather enjoyable. I love just sitting and watching RPers, and have even run across some interesting RP in Goldshire that didn't involve anything raunchy (there was one draenei in her underwear trying to sell herself, but no one took her up and she left after a couple of minutes).

I started on Emerald dream which was RP-PVP... decent rp but once WOTLK came out and we had the realm split I moved Kau over to Wyrmrest Accord for free.

The wall of RP text welcoming me was a shock. RP abounds in SW and goldshire. hell we had a valentines dance in Darnassus too!

I love WrA RP

Oh? And what age do you think is an appropriate one for RP? I will be 28 in a few days, and I'm still enjoying, and engaging, in RP on a regular basis. Granted I don't do the horrible stuff you're talking about, but I do most certainly RP. I had no idea there was some sort of an age-limit on the activity.

Sadly, everyone in horde hates Vol'jin. The moment you mention him in General or Trade, theres just a tyrade of hatred. Both me and a friend saw this. I'll take Moon Guard's Goldshire over a bunch of Garrosh lovers on Wyrmrest anyday.(No offense to possibly the few horde that dont hate Vol'jin on that server.). You can atleast avoid Goldshire.
