I have just recently tamed a core hound... A green one to be exact.

I need some help naming it, any ideas?

Anything will do, Comical, lore, or completely off topic... I just want a good name

Lol, Bowser would indeed be awesome if you go for a funny name.

Or perhaps, if you want to go a bit more serious, perhaps Typhon? He was a many-headed giant with flaming eyes who fathered most of the classical Greek monsters such as the Hydra and the Chimera. Though he got beaten by Zeus when he tried to assault Mount Olympus you gotta admit it takes stones of green helllfire to take on the King of the Gods

Heh heh, I just tamed one of the orange ones the other day (to match my incoming core hound pup).

I named mine Brinks... as in the home security system... haha. Slather or Slobber seem to suit them, also.

Or, I was also looking at names of different volcanic rocks, and liked the one Gabbro. There are lots of others, too.

I also just recently tamed a felwood wolf I already have a name for him, I just named him the same as my old felwood wolf that my brother "Accidentally" deleted in order for him to tame a nether ray that he used once and then abandoned...

But I'm leveling him first. I figure that when Deadbone is 80, then I'll start leveling the Core Hound, and that is when I'll choose the name

Still open to more suggestions, however I'm really liking Brimstone the best

There is a Mage on my realm named Burntmianus. I might be alone in this, but I laugh until my nose runs every time I see him. Although, in this case, I guess it would make more sense if the Hunter was called Burntmianus and the pet called almost anything else.

Seriously, in keeping with Typhon theme: Cerberus had a brother named Orthrus who purportedly had two heads, instead of three.

I named my red core hound Lemmiwinks.... South Park fans got a laugh out of it.

I got a green core hound a week ago on my hunter and named him Dante after the new game that's comin out ^_^*.

You could name your new corehound Vulcan (no not from star trek *glares at the treky fans*). In Roman Mythology, Vulcan was the god of beneficial and hindering fire. You could also name him Hephaestus, who is the greek god of fire and smithery.

Brimstone is a great name. I quite liked the Sulphur suggestion, too.

Named my Loque'nahak the same thing - his mouth made me think of fire or an inferno, which lead to Dante's Inferno.

I was thinkin the same thing when I named him too with the fire dripping out of his mouth
