Why won't he hatch?! xD

I know I'm not the only one having trouble. I've been getting one every 3 days for months and let me tell you, I have a LOT of mini pets and yolk. I keep hearing about people getting one on their second try or getting one instantly after the patch. Apparently my luck is terrible!

So, here's somewhere to vent and perhaps post your findings every three days.

My findings for today? 6 aged yolk. Woooo...

Two cobra hatchlings, about 25 yolks, and one tickbird hatchling so far. I'm not too upset since the alternative is convincing four friends who likely already have one to go get the red, oooor camp the time-lost. I'm not a decent enough hunter to solo Utgarde for the blue one.

I love the rusted proto as well, but the same issue with the red stands there. Everyone I know has it and doesn't want to go do Ulduar, plays Alliance, or wants to go but doesn't have the time. :/

As thankful as I am that they lowered the time and upped the hatch rate, I wish it was faster. I don't have much else to do on Veeka besides ignore her and log in every three days. :(

Same here, Nub. Vallrok does Pet Challenges and waits for eggs to hatch.

I think I have... 12 or 13 Tickbirds, and four cobras. And a lot of yolk. >.<

I'm in the same boat. Been trying for the GPD since the beginning of Wrath. I have no idea how many tries I'm at, but its alot.

Hang in there. I was about to give up as well....when mine hatched out. Bought eggs every week for nearly a year.

Ugh i'm sorry. I dont mean to piss you off any or not, but I seriously got 3 Green Proto Drakes in a row, followed by a Proto Drake Welp, then another Green Proto Drake mount.

But then again it took me about 170 dailies of Brunnhildar Village to get the darn Polar Bear.

Then on another character for the "Chef" title, I managed to get every recipe with the dailies, AND the Chef's Hat (100 cooking awards) without ever seeing the Stormchops recipe in one of the daily bags (I ended up giving up).

RNG sucks sometimes when you need/want it most.

Hang in there, I almost quit for that White Polar Bear, but I kept at it, you're just very unlucky, it should change

I can't even tell you how many of those stupid birds I got. I would have WELCOMED the yolk, lol. Anyway, hang in there! One day you'll open up that egg, see purple text and go OMGWTFFINALLY!

Only one of my characters got the protodrake. My hunter got it after over a year of buying those stupid eggs. Of course, by then, I already had the Uld 10 protodrake and the 'Long Road' achivement one.

My druid and warrior still haven't gotten one, though I only get a new egg now and then. I don't get one as soon as the previous hatches any more. Now my warlock...well..I learned from my mistakes and went Frenzyheart from the start and don't really plan on changing to Bigtongue. Puppymen rule!

Going to be very mean here and say I got her in my 3rd egg of Wrath :< RNG is RNG! *she says as she catches her 12000th fish, still no turtle*

to add here, i opened over 100 eggs (when it was 7 weeks / 3 different characters over a course of a year) without any mounts. I got these once it switched to 3 days. Oi i'm one of those people

I got mine 7th egg, but I'm doing Sethekk, MGT and UK every day, and no mounts there :/ I have 90 mounts....

My husband opened this damn egg for over two years religiously, and didn't see it drop until Cataclysm. So hang in there, you'll get it eventually!

Oh I feel your pain. The Green Proto Drake was the One mount I was most looking forward to in Wrath, and I didn't manage to hatch one until Cataclysm. When you do get one (and you will!), it is a joy to fly--it has such exuberance!

At least the mini-pet is cute! And slightly more welcome than yet-another-tickbird...

I've been a little lax in playing yet-my friend who plays with me had her comp break-so I've really just be logging in to check on my egg recently.


Got the shock of the day when it hatched today. Looked down and saw a drake image and though "DANGIT Drake Welp number Too High To Count!"

But....



Apparently Bliz is trying to tempt me into coming back and spending hours a day in game, lol!

88/100 for the Achieve now-gotta get on it because that is just way too close!

Heh i know what you're feeling. I recently hit 100 mounts about a week ago and it was very... anti-climatic. I used the Red Dragonhawk for maybe 20 seconds before shelving it because of its wierdness. Oh well, the collecting was fun and all and at least now I can relax and not grind rediculous mounts anymore (although i never grinded a 1% drop dungeon mount to get 100)

Top flying mounts I recommend to try for instead of hoping for the darn Green guy to show up:
Cenarion Expedition Hippogryph ~ doesnt take up much of your screen, pretty and seems faster because of smaller size
Time-Lost Proto Drake (prettier than Green, obviously perhaps a bit troublesome to find)
Black Drake ~ Just cool looking, I like the basic Drake models and the Black one just makes you feel like a Badass.

Wooo... Aged Yolk today.

The black drake is very pretty, yeah. The hippogryph is as well, but my character is a troll, and they look funky on a lot of mounts. xD Not sure how he'd look. As for the time-lost. Well. It's even harder to get than the green!
