Some eye candy

I lurk here a bit, finally got started on a picture concept I've been wanting to do for awhile.
I couldn't decide what beasty to put him with, cat of some kind or wind serpent, either way my sketchbook was not large enough to handle it, but that is definitely what computers are for.
Maybe just stick with the cat... the silhouette looks kinda nice.

Oh wow thats a great image and it sure does work well in your sig, I love the faded color you used, and the movement the piece suggest its almost alive, please please please post your sketches of the cat or wind serpent even if you dont end up adding them to this piece. You really do have talent, the balance of the work ,the use of space across the page, amazing, Its less a sketch more a complete illustration.

Thanks for the replies. Ya it's not really a sketch, it just happens to be in a sketchbook since I don't draw large.
He'll have a pet, there's a missing balance without another element... probably make the bow something more discreet (Tornheart looks good in-game, but next to Gronnstalker it's somewhat cartoony) which would help not covering up a pet's body as much.
Well, I dunno, I'll have to mess around on Photoshop some.

Other than the giant nose, pointy ears, claws, saberteeth, and generally everything else about the body, looks a bit like my tabbycat.
Castor's not done (hmm, maybe I should go retame him... curse Wrath making cats kind of meh), I see a dozen things wrong with him, but that's the idea, I guess.

Oh, I love it! That's a beautiful tiger. I don't think many people will notice the mistakes, the face and line of the shoulders really capture the viewer's attention and holds it. All the little wrinkly details in the muzzle is something I love. it was actually your signature that helped me decide to work on getting past my own art block, I can't wait to see what you do with the cat.
