Search for the King

I've been looking for Krush lately on my main to tame him. At first it was just something I didn't think I would end up doing, but a couple of days ago I started a real hunt for him. I spent all my gold on Haste gear and started circling the King's spawn points all day.
Today I was excited to have NPCScan go off - only to find him dead. I knew I should've flown the other way when I started the hunt today! Ah well, at least I have an idea when he should spawn again and it won't be necessary to waste my time looking until then.

Great P.Dawg! Bless this hunter and aid her in her quest to find the King of Sholazar Basin!
I wish you the best of luck in your hunt!
We need a P.Dawg blessing stickie.....

Good luck to you. Just be warned, you may
think you're prepared, but he has this bad habit of proving eager hunters very, very wrong. If you haven't already done so, get LOADS of haste and stamina, then give offerings to P. Dawg.
He's well worth it once you get him! I've never gotten so many compliments on a pet, til now.

518 haste unbuffed, way more than 1k in full buffs - could be nearly 2k, I haven't checked while in full buffs. ^^ Plus Sonata will be there to help on her Druid. She can also bring her Priest if Krush ends up always fearing me during the 3 second window that I'm not immune. I'm feeling really confident though.
*feeds her Gnome Warlock to P. Dawg*
Edit: It's been 10 hours since the last time I saw him. Unless I've missed him (which is fairly unlikely, with both me and Sonata flying around the spawn points for hours), he should spawn any minute now.

Apart from the corpse when I came online yesterday, there has not been a sign of Krush anywhere. I started saying in General that I'm looking for him and am offering 400g to whoever finds him and lets me tame him. So far there have been no whispers... As if Krush doesn't want me. :P After 3 days of constant camping my spirits are fairly low, but I'm too stubborn to quit now.
*starts sacrificing some of her favourite mounts to P. Dawg*

You'll get him! Just when you least expect it, he'll pop up in front of you! That's what happened for me and both Loque'Nahak AND Skoll.
Just keep lookin'!

Or when you call off sick because you feel like poo, go back to bed, and lay there wondering if he's there, then finally go check.....and there he is!!!

Oh_my_god... I can't believe it. *still shaking* After 3 days of nothing but flying around Sholazar, I finally found Krush alive and well. He spawned south of the Base Camp, where he was attacked by an alli hunter, who luckily feigned when I asked her to stop. From there I attempted to tame him at least 4 times, and prayed in my mind that he wouldn't be attacked by the camp's guards. He was allowed to pat past the camp without any combat though, which was a huge relief. He got all the way to east to Makers' Perch before he allowed me to finish my tame. I'm pretty sure it was because I made my trash pet attack him until he feared, and only then hit my BW-abandon-hastebuffs-tame macro.

Congrats!

Krush's the best thrill of all tames, in my opinion. And the best devilsaur, too.

I have to agree with you there. It's been a while since I've had such an adrenaline rush in WoW - way more exciting than King Mosh on Subira, as here was the real threat of someone coming and wanting the loot or to ruin the game for someone. When Mosh is there, you can count on him being there for a while..
Can't wait to get him to 80 and start taking him to Heroics. <3

Huge grats!!! If your server's anything like mine, be prepared to get a few whispers here and there.

And huge thumbs-up to the hunter that actually stopped attacking him to let you take a crack at him!!! I had a similar scenario with mine, except the pally was on the opposite faction, and yet he still was kind enough to pass us by (after some /begging and /pleading on my part, lol).
Super-duper happy for you!!! *happy dance*

Now there is one player that was considerate enough to Feign Death when you wanted the King. Did she actually congratulate you when you got him?

Not that I remember of. She just left out of combat and I never heard of her again. I thought she was a bot earlier that day, as she spent all day killing the beasts south of the camp, but unlike most bots, she actually reacted to my precense when I started following her. XD
