... so, just logged on, hunter parked at one of Skoll's spawnpoints...

My heart leapt, then sank.

He was killed around 6:00 PM our time, with a 10-12 respawn timer...

that means 4:00 - 6:00 AM is when he'll spawn...

I get up at around noon most days...

Should I get up super-early and try and get Skoll? I don't know.... ._.

Yes, you probably should. If Skoll spawns at 4 in the morning, chances are high that if you're logged in, you'll get the tame. Not sure how well you'll be able to stay up for 3 hours, so maybe just plug in some headphones to the computer and let yourself doze?

Yeah, that's the thing... :\ Not sure what I'll do, maybe just try my luck some other time... /sigh.... I dunno

As I said, get up and log on at 4 AM, plug in headphones and just let yourself doze off in your chair. If/when NPCscan goes off (clear your cache after logging off tonight, so that you don't forget), you should be woken up if the volume is high enough. I'm sure you'll be logged out before the two hours (I misspoke when I said 3) are up, so use a small timer to wake you up at intervals.

So, decided not to wake myself up and look for him, and checked in the morning, nothing. I'm guessing if he was killed at 4:00 - 6:00 AM +, I should camp for him around 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM or something... I don't want to camp that long, but maybe he'll spawn closer to 2:00 then 8:00. :\

Here's my suggestion to you, befriend someone out in Storm Peaks looking for TLPD. I just started my camp on my Pally, and in the past 2 days, I have rehomed 3 Skolls. This thread just breaks my heart since I know I'll see him probably 10 more times before I see TLPD. But my real point is that I spotted a hunter sitting at a Skoll spawn point the other night. And tonight when I found Skoll, I looked her up. I held him until she got there, and she got a pretty new puppy! Let people know out there, and hopefully a decent person will help you out. If only you were on my server.

Okay, I'll see if I can befriend anyone -- I've seen a lot of people looking for TLPD... hopefully some of them might be helpful and tell me if he spawns.

And after so long, still no Skoll...

...though, I may have... urm... logged out after about 2 hours... to.... um ... play Minecraft...

But usually I'm super lucky with finding rares, so you can't blame me for tiring out after only a few hours, right? Right?

No Skoll, alive or dead. TLPD, well... not so much alive, but still here.




Second time I've seen him dead looking for Skoll, first on this character.
