While Krush my be the King in name, I think we know who really rules the Basin with an iron paw.

As of 9AM this morning I've decided I'm going to sit on this toon in the Basin all day until I get Loque'nahak. The fact that I might miss him is keeping me from doing fun things like farming cobalt and running Magister's Terrace, and we can't have that! I've moved out to the faster computer directly to the right of the kitchen, I've eaten a good breakfast, have something to drink and have my speakers plugged in and turned up and I even have a gorgeous Luck Charm. I like to think I'm prepared.

The only issue is I've read guide after guide and they all tell me to do different things! I don't know if patrolling or camping is more effective, and where to camp, and when to do flyovers - every half hour? Hour? Ten minutes? I'm starting more or less completely blind. I have no idea when he was last sighted/killed/tamed/danced upon, and I only have my past experience with Gondria to go on with rough 'lucky times': I found her at 3pm, so maybe I'll find him around then.

As of now I'm doing circles and pausing on spawn points to type this. I circled all day with Gondria, but Sholazar tends to have more people in it - I dunno how many are out and about now, but probably a few. Actually, I just checked - three people Hordeside, and I'm the only hunter. I guess that's a good sign.

Anywho, any advice/assistance camping if you play on MG(I can't pay you right now, sorry) is much appreciated - I've never taken on the King of the Basin with intent to tame, and it looks like he's going to give me a hard time. I'll be doing my best to rehome Aotona and Krush should I find them, hoping it nets me some good karma. :P

Patrolling vs. camping depends on flying mount speed, imo. When I camped Rakesh on Ziarre, I had a normal flier so I nailed down one of the gorilla spots and stayed there--soon realizing that I could Eagle Eye the other gorilla spot and effectively cover two at once. However, with as many spawn points as he has, patrolling might be your best bet if you've got a 280% or 310% speed. I'd make it every 5 or 10 minutes, since while he doesn't have the pathing hazards that Krush does, he's still not prone to a long lifespan.

I've found that a full circle on my epic flyer takes about 5 minutes if you give an extra minute or two for autorun goofs, so I've just been going in constant circles with occasional pit stops on spawn points so I can get snacks/change the music/use the bathroom/etc. I haven't seen a single soul out here and I'm coming up on the 6 hour mark, so I'm hoping he'll show himself soon.

Here's hoping it doesn't take much longer. :P

Gl and I hope you get him soon. I love my Logan. He's saved me and my friend many times in raids.

Aotona just popped up as I flew over at 2:38, about 6 hours and 30 minutes into my camp. I tamed her since I've been looking for her on and off since Wrath and I've had her killed under me twice. >_> Feels good to finally have her in my stables.

Still no sign of Loque. I'm hoping Aotona didn't take his spawn. :C

They don't share spawn timers, so Aotona didn't. XD

Ugh. Getting closer to the 8 hr mark. I don't know how much longer I'll want to do this. :/

You gotta stay strong, my dear. If you want loque, you need to be ready for a heavy camp.

Got him after giving up for an hour or so, then going back to farm more titanium. Stared at a nelf hunter with her wasp while checking my stables, and then flew right over him. He was less than a second or two away from the base camp, how she didn't notice him I have no idea. O_o

Either way, kitty is mine!
