Things got worse? I remember hearing about this in the guild sometime last week. Hope the job hunt isn't too terrible; at least you can still work in your field.

I got the BBB*EDIT*(better business bureau )) involved and got compensation.. not full but atleast it was something. I would give them a ring and let them know they let you go and explain what was going on and that you were trying to fight it.

I hope you can get a new job with a better boss soon.

This and this. HR should not tolerate a manager threatening and lying to her employees (slander and the like are not good to have under your company banner) and even if they don't do anything about it the Better Business Bureau will step in (something they really wont want). Any "manager" that treats those under them like that deserves to be fired and be unable to use their work experience for that job for fear of having their app thrown out.

Take a few days to get rested over the loss, then when looking for a new job don't forget to put in applications at your local healthcare temp agencies. You may work part-time or Per Diem through the temp agency but it brings in money while waiting for a full time position. And also check with your states Unemployment requirements to see if you can recieve any benefits. Given to the circumstance that led to you resigning you may or may not be entitled to them.

Oh good, I hope you do try to talk to someone above her and explain what happened. With any luck, they'll have had reports similar to yours and can start cracking down on this lady.

I can't believe that you had to go through this; it's horrible that someone would act like that. I hope you'll be able to find a new job soon.

Good. She needs to be reported. And if HR doesn't listen, go someplace higher up.

And you'll be much better off without having to deal with her. Sometimes bad things can lead to good things. Keep your spirits up.

Should've documented every incidents and report to higher up/HR and tell them you can no longer solve these problems in personal level (between you and your manager)
